Not watched the video, but what is the blowing at the end of the song supposed to be for?

It's a continuing of the wind that's "beginning to howl" I think.

Wow. I'm not sure what to make of that after an initial listen but it's definitely interesting. I will never be able to listen to the middle section without thinking of Cadburys fruit & nut though.
This is very different to anything else Madonna has done. It’s certainly a lot better than anything else I’ve heard from this era but her voice is still way too over processed.

From MadonnaTribe:

Madonna’s Dark Ballet video, directed by Emmanuel Adjei has been shortlisted for the Best Pop Video – International at the UK Music Video Awards, the premier celebration of global music video and music film making.

Launched in 2008, the MVAs has become the most important annual event in the calendar for the world of music video production, celebrating the best work made in the past 12 months and primarily honouring the creative people behind the artform – from directors and producers, to cinematographers, production designers, choreographers and stylists, as well as editors, animators and more – all judged by professionals within the music video industry.

The awards encompasses a wide range of categories in music video and music film production and post-production, including videos and films across music genre and technical categories, and awards for individuals and companies: directors, producers, commissioners, artists and production companies for a body of work over the past year.

Dark Ballet was shortlisted in the Best Pop Video – International category. The nominees are:

Billie Eilish – When the Party’s over

Madonna – Dark Ballet

Rosalía – Aute Cuture

Rosalía – De aquí no sales

Sigrid – Sucker Punch

Tove lo – Glad he’s gone

The winners will be revealed at the awards show on 23 october at the Roundhouse in London in a big night of celebration.

Definitely a deserved nomination! More video nominations, either for this or others, would be very welcome. 'God Control' in particular deserves a win.

God Controls the best video but I can see why this was nominated too.

As for Dark Ballet the song itself still gets me questioning it. It’s so bonkers and so Madonna.

The classical section is LIT but I do love the start the most.

I’d love to see how it’s performed live as a whole piece on the tour.
