I think Omertà is only doing much better than MITG at the moment because people are downloading the EP, which will count towards the sales of Omertà (being track one).

On the Official chart also? Only Omerta getting the sales? Wow that's bizarre.

Yes, that's how it works. But most of the sales will be from streaming anyway so MITG will definitely chart.

LM have been on a pretty downward spiral with recent singles but this really does take the mustard - terrible use of sample contributing to an all-round very shoddy record.

Quite liking the Taylor song, much better than ME!

In agreement with all of this... the Little Mix song, while I didn't hate it, just sounded like one of those tacky X-Factor mashups and given I'm not aware of what their plans are at the moment, I'd say it sounds like something to lead a Greatest Hits or something.

The difference being that Little Mix were already selling loads. Usually the "biggest boosts" come from acts who are either mid-low top 100 or something so their boosts are noticeable.

Would it not be shown by a increase in the % on kworb even if they are no1?

Nah One Show promo is pretty big usually, prime time BBC 1 appearance.

When has it provided an especially notable iTunes boost though? I don't think Little Mix could have hoped for more than they got.

Little Mix just have no idea what lane they are in and it it absolutely reflecting in their music output. Their more younger fan friendly music has gotten them more success but it started to clash with them dressing and acting more grown up/sexily. So then they tried more grown up last era and it didn't sell as well, so now you have a bit of a dire mix of the 2. A cool 90s sample with childish hooks and horns, it is a shame as they are talented and move was an absolute triumph but right now they deserve to flop for selling out any modicum of artistry and growth to sell and please record company bosses.

Sorry I'm not in agreement with all the hate for Bounce back, I think it's a great summery tune. I think they will release a new album either late this year or early next year.
Back to Life was a great single, Bounce Back... not :)

This sums it up for me and may explain the lack of love from some, they have used an All-time classic without the coolness of the original.

11. Mabel - Mad Love

46. Drake - Omertà

57. Darryl Riddz, Impact & The Bald Builders - Who Are We (Main Mix)

127. Sheryl Crow - Still The Good Old Days (feat. Joe Walsh)

140. Drake - Money In The Grave (feat. Rick Ross)

Didnt exactly expect drake to fly to the top of itunes but isnt this climbing slow for him (not that it matters as streaming is usually his better platform)
Little Mix are still holding on at Number One on iTunes on day three, and their Spotify debut was top twenty... is there a good chance they’ll officially debut at N1?

no chance, zero

iTunes sales are very low at the moment, 1k a day for #1

think they'll debut around #10

their YouTube views are likely to push them to around #7/8

I think I agree that it'll be around #8 if their streams hold up across the week. I'd welcome them debuting in the top 5 but can't see it unfortunately.
