Can't wait for Thursday's shock outburst in the Queen Vic!

Was kinda hoping this would have been playing on the jukebox at the time:

I hope this isn't the end of Honey's storyline though. I want to see her rebuild her life and confidence again rather than her eating disorder magically be cured and swept under the carpet.

Also I think tonight proved again that Shirley should have had the alcoholism storyline over Linda.

I wanted Honey's closing line to be stronger than the dentist line she delivered.

We've heard a lot about Christmas but nothing really mentioned about what the main New Year storyline will be? Unless it's a continuation of Christmas?

Looks like it revolves around the Carters, specifically Linda.

Christmas spoilers:

Monday 23rd December - Lauren Klee (8:00pm)

Martin’s job with Tubbs ends in disaster, Phil edges closer and closer to the truth, and Linda is forced to defend her actions.

Tuesday 24th December - Lauren Klee (7:30pm)

Unbeknownst to Sharon and Keanu, the final pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place for the Mitchells. Meanwhile, Linda finds herself in a desperate situation, and Denise is more determined than ever to prove she’s right

Wednesday 25th December - Pete Lawson (9:30pm)

It’s Christmas Day in Walford, and Phil has only one thing on his mind - revenge. Linda hits rock bottom, leaving the Carters distraught, and one family’s fortunes change for the better.

Thursday 26th December - Daran Little (9:00pm)

The events of Christmas Day hang heavy in Walford, and more than one family is left torn apart. Patrick is rocked by Denise’s bombshell, and Chantelle hatches a plan to protect her future.

Friday 27th December - Daran Little (8:00pm)

Chantelle receives an unwelcome surprise, and Lola takes charge of a situation.

Monday 30th December - Simon Ashdown (8:00pm)

It’s New Year’s Eve in Walford, and everyone gears up to ring in the new year. Linda continues to hide what happened on Christmas Day from her family, while Whitney makes a surprising discovery.

Tuesday 31st December - Simon Ashdown (7:30pm)

New Year's Eve continues in Walford and, haunted by the events of Christmas Day, Linda’s behaviour spirals dangerously out of control.

Wednesday 1st January - Rob Gittins (8:00pm)

Following recent events, secrets and lies continue to simmer away in more than one Walford family.

"Following recent events, secrets and lies continue to simmer away in more than one Walford family."

I swear that's the description every New Year

LAST TIME HE SAW A WOMAN'S BITS YOU PROBABLY HAD A FRINGE

SCREAMING

"It might come in handy having a bent copper in the family" the one-liners are on fire tonight

I was actually cracking up, I was going to post that myself, but I couldn't remember the whole sentence word for word  I was too busy laughing.

Lisa knowing the full truth may stop her from telling it, but her giving up her vendetta will only make Phil more suspicious.
What the heck was that with Leo and his mum? I’m really struggling to work him out whether he now wants revenge or not.. but I guess that’s how we’re supposed to perceive him

The annual "it's only just beguuuuun" duff duff! :cheer:

I know the show likes to joke about Phil being shot but how many people actually know it was Lisa? It's not actually common knowledge, certainly Louise doesn't know. That could be an interesting reveal further down the line.

Really enjoying Phil as of late, especially as I'm watching the 1991 repeats on Dave so I can view the comparisons. A shame it's likely an attempt to make him as sympathetic as possible ahead of the reveal.

The Whitney scenes were good, even if we have seen them time and time before. I'd love this to finally be the point where they move Whitney's character on, although rumours seem to indicate she'll fall pregnant with Leo's child. To make this even more degrading, there could possibly be a "Who's the Daddy?" element if Whitney sleeps with Lee over Christmas.

Gah at them scrapping a pregnancy storyline with her and Callum only to use it anyway on possibly another story for her instead :drama:

I enjoyed her scenes with Leo tonight but it all fell a bit like a damp squib at the end like ‘was that it?’ Surely not

I think the storyline continues tomorrow - there were pictures taken of Leo attacking Whitney at Tony's grave a couple of months back. Leo is also mentioned in the spoilers for the first week of 2020.
