Callum’s return too! All the dramz

I’m sad Louise is going. I’m fairly sure that the character won’t be off screens for that long though. I can see maybe a year or so break before the character comes back hopefully with Tilly playing the part but they could easily recast.

 

It’s a shame because she’s been at her best and most interesting lately. This is something the show tends to do with young female characters. Lucy Beale and Abi Branning both started to really become great and then they killed them off and Mel Owen too had a slow start to her second stint but by the time she left she was one of the strongest points of the show. I’m pretty sure however they wouldn’t kill off Louise Mitchell. There’s too much scope for potential stories years down the line and it would be really short sighted.

Lou's never been so interesting and she's giving the performances of her career and she's leaving. It's gutting :(

 

So glad I got back into EE full-time last month. It's absolutely brilliant right now

They always do this when a character is about to leave. The same happened with Mel too :/

Love the anniversary concept of the whole week set over 24 hours from different perspectives

I am totally here for Sharon giving birth on a boat for the 35th anniversary.

 

If there is a death, I’d like a shock one. Lisa and Louise are probably the most likely candidates but after Mel and Hunter, I’d rather they didn’t.

 

Also have they got Sonia’s story backwards? Now it’s clear why she’d need to steal from Dot but not on Christmas Day?

Unless with Sonia there is something else going on and this is just adding to it

I'm hoping that as it's the anniversary, they do a proper big shock like Kathy coming back for the 30th, idk who it could be in that case but if its just Lisa or Louise that'd be boring and a real shame. Both are characters who have so much more to give if they were to come back so just going off to Portugal together would be best for them.

I think Keanu will return for the anniversary,,get revenge on Ben and him louise peggy and lisa will do a runner so Phil wont know where they are, this tying in with sharon given birth. Or keanu will return and steal Sharon's baby. Carters are sure to play a part which is good of the focus is on linda and not mick, as she is brill at the mo, Sonia is also sure to be part of the anniversary storyline.

That would be brilliant and make so much sense and get rid of an awful character and give at least 3 others loads of storyline potential.

If it's between her and Mel for example to be offed, I choose Sharon. If it's between her and any male, I'll choose the male. But they need to sort out her character. She is not a heavyweight boxer gangsta. At all.

Tbf, when they get the character right, Mick is great. Kate Oates has done wonders for the Carters since she took over - putting them on the backseat with scenes mostly revolving around them as a family unit has helped to ground the characters and win back sympathy for them.
