I love Lana’s part, but that’s because I love her voice. It doesn’t naturally fit with the song but somehow it works, for me anyway. They all have such star quality but this song and video can only be a good thing for Lana.

The Ariana fatigue is real — Miley has so much bite in her verse and Lana obviously offers something else in the middle 8 (something from a superior song...), but Ariana just sounds dull in comparison and brings the energy down.

 

It's hard not to find it all a little undercooked

 

Was gonna post my thoughts here but I'd pretty much just be echoing this! Ariana's part and the chorus really lack both the anger of Miley and the sultriness of Lana. It's not too bad and may grow on future listens, but it's a lot more meek than it should've been.
