(Could someone edit the title (SheeRan) and < to > in the last option, seems I can't do it myself...)

Edited for you.

Hard to call. It clearly won't do as well as Divide because of the type of album it is, though I imagine its streams will be huge regardless and it'll still get a good number of casual buyers.

I'm going to go for 170k for now.

207k, it might be a side project but it's current single is number 1 for a millionth week and it has all the features that will no doubt send his massive streams astronomical.
5 didn't chart (wonder why?)

That was before he had any hits!

148k

God knows though, I can't imagine a lot of Ed's fanbase will be wanting a rap heavy collabs album though.

Kudos to him for doing something different but it could also kill off a bit of momentum for when Minus is eventually released. I don't think he'll ever be bigger than he was in 2017, but then how many artists ever reach those heights anyway?

But it reached #30 in the US in 2015 so maybe it was ineligible in the UK?

Source?

No. 5 charted at #46 in the UK in 2011 anyhow, impressive considering that was before he got famous.

Edit: Oh, I see. You mean this compilation of Ed's EPs rather than No. 5 itself. I don't think it got a UK release.

I'm not entirely convinced this is going to be the mammoth success that Divide was. Certainly I've tuned out for this era because what's come from it so far has been uninspiring, and I think that's probably true of a lot of his fanbase. It'll probably be over 100k at least, I grant you, but more than that I'm not prepared to predict on.
As its ed Sheeran i cant imagine it doing under 100k but as others have been saying i will be extremely suprised if it comes close to divides opening sales

300K :)

I think there will be lots of curiosity streams

It'll have very high streaming numbers (although not near as high as his last album) but much lower pure sales, it seems more like the sort of project that people will listen to once and then cherrypick a few favourites to add to their playlists and never listen to the rest again rather than one that people will repeatedly listen to front to back. I'll go with 101-150k.

His last album was a couple of years ago though, streams have grown a lot since then. I feel like with all those rappers as features too he will get massive streams.

I agree with this. I feel like it won't really have the same sort of chart run that a solo release would have.

Pure sales have fallen a lot since his last release. It'll still do very well of course.
