Just listening to KISS now why are the songs sped up? So boring to listen to and why have they started to include pop in their playlist?! It was unique when they only played dance, hip-hop and R&B and if they played the charting pop songs they would be dance remixes, such a shame what’s happened to it.

KISS have been speeding up their songs for many years now. I'm guessing it's to make the station sound more upbeat and fresh.

I enjoyed the dance/RnB format KISS had from 2020-24. That's what made it stand out from other commercial radio stations. It's not the first time in the station's history they have become more pop. I remember them playing Olly Murs, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 constantly in the 2010's.

The problem with KISS now is that it is trying to be all things to all people. It doesn't work.

I tend to listen to BBC R1 over KISS these days.

kiss and capital are lowkey becoming one and the same. capital has been adding a LOT more not-so-safe options to their recurrents and even playlist. Meanwhile, kiss is going a lot more mainstream due to a massive loss of listeners and they need to regain them.
