Bye bye 'For A Better Day' and 'Broken Arrows' as we finish Round 2.

 

'Broken Arrows' was the final single to be released from the Stories era, and while it was a big hit in Sweden, it failed to emulate its succes over here in the UK and barely scraped the Top 200. A country tinged track, it appears Avicii tried to replicate 'Hey Brother', with Zac Brown Band on board providing the vocals.

 

 

'For A Better Day', featuring vocals by Alex Ebert, was released as the counterpart single to the earlier casualty 'Pure Grinding'. It has a funky piano riff throughout and borders more on the pop side of dance music, but is quite clearly not a Buzzjack fave.

y'all slept on Stories :angry: those two tracks are so underrated, didn't deserve to leave this soon!

For A Better Day deserved to last another round or two but isn’t a huge loss I guess. I voted for Broken Arrows last round so no complaints there at all.

Can't argue with those 2 going out, very forgettable.

 

Just going for Superlove & Lay Me Down now.
