Number 1 in the mids by around 3k and Lewis Capaldi is her nearest competitor, i really hope she can hold on this week.With 6.2 sales so far it isnt bad so she will easily have 12k again for this week.

Music Week has just revealed the pure sales / streaming split for Dua's album last week:

 

19,568 pure sales

14,822 streaming

34,390 total

I’m surprised she had higher actual sales than streams.

 

Re Future Nostalgia being amongst the lowest tracks I think the fact it was released as a promo single may be why it’s lower as people had already heard it before. Plus I think many don’t really see it as a highlight the way other album tracks have been received. For me it’s the only weak link on the album.

Agreed, I think people will have just started from 'Don't Start Now'. I also think that 'Cool' being quite low down compared to its placing on the album shows that fans quickly identified their favourite tracks.

Guessing there's been a typo with the streaming? I'd probably be more inclined to believe your source is correct than MW. :P

I do hope single 4 is a while off yet though so we can let Physical and Break My Heart do their thing and also let Don’t Start Now fizzle out too she can chart well when Love Again gets the single push.

 

 

'Cool' is doing the best out of the tracks that weren't on New Music Friday/other big playlists on Apple and Spotify tbh! That one wasn't pushed to a many big playlists, which makes me optimistic that they might be waiting to use it later into Summer as the next single!

Yes she needs to leave a gap now and let the existing singles do their thing before releasing another single. I'm fairly confident the album will get re released later in the year and like with her debut she will do features to stretch out the shelf life of the album.
