October 9, 20195 yr Maybe it’s just a bit too pure pop for today’s climate? I’m not sure. :( Starting to wonder whether she should have gone with Freaking Me Out as the third single instead. The Halloween vibes of it are somewhat reminiscent of Sweet But Psycho, maybe that would have helped solidify an image for her. Torn has only just passed Freaking Me Out’s Spotify stream count!

October 9, 20195 yr Freaking Me Out having almost 15m streams on Spotify as a “random” track is quite something though. Torn has only just matched that, 8 weeks into its life as a full blown single with music video & some promo. It could indicate that Freaking Me Out may have had more potential if it had received the push instead. We’ll never know, but what is evident is that Torn has sadly failed to connect. Ooky spooky Ava might just have had more of an edge over indistinctive pure pop girl Ava.

Interesting that she’s concentrated on the UK market (Jonathan Ross, Capital Radio, Attitude awards and front cover etc.,) yet its bombing here the hardest?
