very true, even with classy graphics, and whatever technology they throw at it, they just recreate the originals like Sonic, and Mario, without really making it any more innotative

Erm... Mario 64 was one of the most innovative games EVER  It definied 3D platformers but I do prefer old games too  That's why I'm not usually a fan of Playstation and XBOX games.. when I'm told about how good a game is it's because of it's graphics rather than how fun the game is :( Halo and the Final Fantasy games are absolutely brilliant and addictive for example  Infact there was this game that I thought was really interesting sounding in a trailer for PS3 the other day and it turned out it was a technical demo. Maybe it'll turn into another FPS or something

Actually this thread has convinced me to get some more Wii Points to download R-Type, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mario and Sonic from the Virtual Console onto my Wii rather than the Enter Shikari album

We really went 13 years with no one talking about Crash Bandicoot
It's been that long since any good releases tbf! (If we don't count the successful remakes from past few years)
It’s so fricking hard. The N.Sanely Perfect relics are horrid at times!
The normal game is bad enough, to the point where it's too frustratingly hard for me to want to play too much so I'm going through it really slowly

I feel like it’ll be mid next year for the Switch release tbh, but I don’t doubt that it will come eventually

So I got Crash 4 with an eShop gift card I got for my birthday and... it’s hard. Very hard  It frustrates me and when I found out that every single level will have an inverted mode I flipped :P I’m really enjoying it though and no doubt I will sink hours into this game trying to 100% it.
Haven't played this in ages (fallen behind other games in the pecking order) but yeah I got about half way thru and am struggling massively. The levels where you have to change the boxes from invisible to visible and vice versa always screw with my brain

I need to give this another go, but it’s bloody difficult. Can’t remember what level I’m at, it’s one of the jet ski ones though.

I’ve finally got this seeing as it was half price at Nintendo at the moment… really looking forward to attempting it as I haven’t played a game in ages… although seeing you guys all say it’s really hard is making me a little nervous, I found out from the Crash trilogy that I was not as good at these games as I used to be
