I wonder if problems with producing Freya's album vinyl version will cost her #2 position. All vinyl are postponed to beginning of August
Poor freya most other weeks she would be looking at an easy number 1 (providing she isnt front loaded)
she would have missed many weeks actually

Pretty good for Freya after the campaign was starting to look like it had gone off the rails a bit after You Mean The World To Me. Glad Castles has pulled it back and I hope the album is a steady seller for her and doesn't fall too quickly.

Also, yasss at the ginger domination of the top two...when will your blonde-haired faves?

For no reason whatsoever (apart from a piano ballad singer-songwriter arriving in the album charts in July at No.2 behind a cultural behemoth) I've just remembered that Delta Goodrem's Innocent Eyes was riding high for a few weeks in the top three exactly 16 years ago. Slightly scary as I am now double the age (32) that I was when I was so obsessed with it that boiling hot summer.

May have spoken too soon about 'Cross Me' not dropping out prematurely </3 bloody OCC ignoring their own supposed rules. x

Looks like a super dead week for the singles chart, good to see 'Hate Me' hopefully on course to climb in after being just outside for the last 3 weeks though, a rare post-'Halcyon' Ellie song that I actually really like so I hope it can still eventually turn into a decent sized hit for her (deserves a lot better than 'Sixteen' at the very least).

Freya looking safe for a top 3 debut in the albums chart which is pretty good for her (hope it can stay at #2). I see Thom Yorke's physical release dropped this week, midweek #4 still seems kind of disappointingly low for that but I suppose his solo releases have never done as well as Radiohead's albums, this should still easily outpeak the 'Suspiria' soundtrack. I assume the 2 Sabaton appearances in the album chart will be combined later in the week? Lol ~

The Top 3 singles are all very close, but more so the Top 2, could sway either way.

Freya Riding is starting out strong and it is an impressive showing for her.

Would be happy to see Shakespeares Sister remain Top 10 but it will fall hard next week.

I expected Kylie to be a safe Top 8 and based on the some of the entries above i think Kylie will reclaim her Top 10 position by the end of the week.

I hope Shakespears Sister remains top 10 but I think it’ll fall quickly considering all the fan bundles they have.

Kylie has the potential to overtake:

Shakespeares Sister - Singles Party (1988-2019)

Sabaton - The Great War *

Brian Eno - Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks

Was hoping for a new entry from Laville in the albums. Any idea where he is?
I presume 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' is not being counted towards Beyoncé's 3 song limit for some reason (I guess that one is being counted as a "cast recording"?) - based on the Spotify chart from the other day it looks like there are one or two Beyoncé tracks from 'The Lion King: The Gift' that are starred out, but a couple of the non-Beyoncé ones have been allowed in as well as the 3 highest by Beyoncé because they've deemed this time that it's a compilation (so it is being treated the same as 'Black Panther'). But then the other soundtrack album seems to also be counting as a compilation so god knows...

And ASIB might overtake Kylie
