17th March we should get the tracklist. I don’t wanna see a NOW 5 throwback on NOW 105 if they’re not gonna release NOW 5 on CD along with it

I want them to re-issue the editions from my golden Now era (late 80s/early 90s) as quickly as possible so any delays are very much unwelcome. Even if it's not that hard or expensive to obtain the originals.

Even if they have to release NOW 5 with missing tracks like they did with NOW 3 then so be it

I mean, I would definitely hope for a reissue of the fifth volume, especially as it seems odd to stop after just four volumes, but is there actually a market for those retro CD’s in supermarkets and high street chains like HMV? It might not be a profitable decision to re-release any further volumes in the future if sales for the previous four reissued volumes were low.

If they have to stop them, at least stop at NOW 9

I have Now 4 on CD and must admit I've spent much more time looking at it than actually listening to it but can these really cost them that much to produce considering how many 100 Hits CDs for you see going for a fiver? Lots of them are absolutely brimming with huge songs. I don't know that much about this but I might just snap up all the re-issues including the ones I've already missed if they keep going.

Also, I'm not one of these people who cares about the odd missing track or ever-so-slightly different versions of songs being included. What I really don't get is the throwback songs on the main Nows. I understand why they might draw attention to the re-issues but surely just a single bonus track would do. A wealth of 35-year-old songs at the end just seems to defeat the object of modern Nows. Plus, they could easily fill both CDs with radio hits even without dipping into Radio 2 veteran fodder.

Plus, I suppose we can also attribute the decline of the brand to people doing what I do - making their own 2hr 40min playlists of tracks that have defined recent months. And yet, I still see it as a hugely valuable institution that really needs to be kept alive.

Does anyone watch the Now TV Channels? Now 70's is now on Freeview Ch78 and am really enjoying it so far. Closes down at 10pm though but continues on Sky and other platforms.
Discussion on the Now Facebook page as to whether N..N..Nineteen Not Out by The Commentators will be on it. Never been on CD before.

If it’s not, you could always download the track individually and add it to the album like most people did when Bob Marley and Gary Glitter were removed from NOW 3. If they don’t include the Commentators, they could always replace it with the original Paul Hardcastle version

Hopefully they'll be able to license it.

According to amazon, the tracklist is exactly as it is on vinyl

Yes, just seen. All tracks correct and present.

I just hope that when NOW 6 gets released in the Summer, that they use the vinyl version of "Tarzan Boy" instead of the version which is appearing on today’s compilations. And the biggest debate is whether Queen will be on NOW 7 CD or not?

They've announced that they're releasing up to and including Now 10 then no more re-issues after that. Now 10 will be out for Christmas 2021.
Why wouldn't Queen be on Now 7 if it was on the original?

It was only on limited copies of NOW 7 as a bonus track
