Ya the light years singles were to rushed which was really to accommodate kids, if spread more and a 5th single light years maybe well over 500k by now, still a great great great era though

 

If any Kylie album was capable of serving a 5th single it was Light Years as the album was packed with choices.

That said, maybe a 5th single may have met with success it may have missed the Top 10 and Kylie would not have went on to have her run of 16 consecutive Top 10 singles.

If it got good promo a 5th single may have managed top 10 I think but we will never know, I do agree light years was so packed with single choices.

The Light Years tour is a tour i would have thoroughly enjoyed but did not get to it.

Kids gets a lot of hate but i think it is appreciated more outside the fanbase.

It did provide Kylie with a 3rd consecutive Top 2 hit.

Ya and it help create even further interest in kylie at that time as robbie was huge back then.

I really did think Kids had Number 1 written all over it due to the popularity of both Kylie and Robbie in that era.

It’s the only song I skip on SBIT and the only Kylie song I truly dislike. Glad it gave her a big hit but if I never heard it again it would be too soon :lol:

Yep definitely one that the general public still seem to enjoy too.

Ya kids is def more popular outside the fan base, I always like it though.

The fans may like it more if it is given a rest on the live performances or if Kylie injects life by performing it with strong duet partners.

For me it's Aphrodite - it just reminds me of a certain time in my live and is such a special album to me.

 

Also during the Aphrodite tour, whilst watching Kylie at the O2, my boyfriend asked me to be his boyfriend, so again this album has a really special place in my heart

 

Aphrodite was good to and it was likely the last kylie album to gonplstinum and her last era to have a huge hit.
