It's counting down the weeks until ACR. I'm sure the public are more excited about other songs currently!

Obviously it's been out for a while but it's still streaming very well, whether ACR's approaching or not! I've argued before that Hot Hits UK isn't actually about promoting the freshest and newest songs, as much as we'd all like it to (myself included!). Mad Love's definitely not the most questionable song they could put at the top, and it'll likely get reshuffled soon anyway.

Exactly. It’s definitely a big hit but it’s not a hot one atm.

But Hot Hits are songs that are currently big and she's top 20. It's not Spotifys fault that songs people want to listen to still are not the freshest to people like us who follow the chart and thatthis playlist is its biggest and most listened to.

The song is months old and it is now gradually on its way out/on its way to ACR. To me, it is not a "hot hit" at this point in its existence.

^ the third version of 'Take Me Back To London' has just dipped out of the top 200 though so this is where his 'combined' figure will start being a little misleading unless it quickly re-enters. It won't be far outside so it'll still have nearly 45k streams.

 

Big update for 'Strike A Pose', really hoping that will scrape into the top 10 this week. Also good to see 'Circles' climbing back to #12 today, hope that will climb into the top 10 with a boost from his album release next week.

I'd imagine the next number 1 will be Aitch due to the EP being released on Friday. Should give Taste a big enough boost; especially as Take me back to London seems to be on the wain already
