I´m sorry but how many times...a current big very successful artist from the UK is NOT going to do Eurovision. They have nothing to gain from it and everything to lose. It will *NOT* be Mabel. I would put my life savings on it.

 

I feel bad for people when they inevitably feel dissapointed every UK reveal day, but they get so carried away with the speculations.

I heard Drake is rumoured with a song written by Guy Chambers.

Mabel only has a publishing deal with BMG, she's not signed to them as an artist, it's absolutely not her

 

(also I don't see why her new single would be released Wednesday when the song premiere is Thursday? radio aren't waiting a day to play brand new Mabel)

for what it’s worth I quite enjoyed electro velvet but that was totally the wrong song to send if they were even trying to do well.

But this is exactly the point I´m making. It´s not just the opinion of the artist "oh I don´t mind doing it", theres the legal side of it of well, their record labels etc deciding on what and what isn´t a good investment of their time.

 

If anything I would say theres actually MORE chance in the next 10-15 years of Adele doing it, as shes already made her millions and has a global reputation so wouldn´t be tarnished as much.

Oh yeah forgot about ADELE. Gwon girl, make this your long awaited comeback :lol: SURELY this is why she delayed her album release at the end of last year ;)

I think a realistic prospect would be somebody like Foxes. Theres also a few things pointing towards her. Her album was delayed recently been delayed and no reason has been given.

Freaks from last year was robbed! It's actually become a bit of a cult hit it seems, has 8 million streams on Spotify (double than Bigger Than Us) - has a lot of fan edits.

I don't think anybody said we're definitely sending Mabel? It's literally what the last part of your post says... SPECULATION. Mabel fit a lot of the clues and with R1 supposedly getting involved, it is easy to see why she'd be speculated and talked about. No need to get so irate about people speculating an artist, when none of us have said "OMG YES WE'RE SENDING MABEL!" we know the procedure and we know what we're getting into. :lol:
