^ Fever climbed up the chart from #69 to #32 thanks to the Special Edition.
Big sales week back in November 2002 if I recall correctly. Loads of massive albums out same time.
I’ve heard the mega mix anyway but it’s quite disappointing. Wish they had been more inventive and put some unreleased tracks or remixes on the third bonus disc.
Well as kylie said on jr she initially felt the same as the fans about songs omitted and id say she might feel the same as us about disc 3. She is higher in the mids than in expected which is good and we know she isn't front loaded on pre orders.
It got a tiny boost for the g Norton repeat last night. Moved from 40 to 33 on itunes and 23 to 21 on Amazon

She's pretty much on a level with artists just below her. Beck is currently no20 with 2,333 sales (292 yesterday), Billie Eilish is no22 on 'only' 1898 sales but sold 825 yesterday. It's all to play for but top 20 is looking good thus far as long as her sales generally hold up.

Has a small chance of beating the 3rd best week of sales when she was at number 4, but anything close to 6000 will be decent, all things considered. Strange though, once the 3CD was announced the sales of the 2CD collapsed...total sales would probably have been around the same if they'd just stuck with the 2CD haha as it was selling over 1000 copies per week....then again, speculate to accumulate. This one has more chance of selling bigger volumes the next month, hopefully it will be prominent in supermarkets and HMV.

I was expecting a return to the Top 40 but was not sure where.

With more promo etc and more casual buyers it should pick up the sales over the next month.

Solid midweek news:

Mid Week update

14 (RE) Step Back In Time

Sales: 4,506

Yesterday: 801

Ranked no20 for yesterday.

CD: 3,782

Digital: 385

Streaming: 254

Vinyl LP: 81

That should (hope) result in Kylie getting a Top 20 position on Friday if she is 1800 clear of the Number 20.

Kylie is selling reasonably too.

Is 20k a reasonable hope for the album to sell until the end of the year?
Fingers crossed she manages to benefit from the December boost. Four weeks of sales at 5k a week...she’s gonna need a fair following wind.

This weeks sales needed to be higher than they are to ensure Gold status be year end.

That said, she would only need close to 15k to make it.
