I would be amazed if it’s top 40 by tomorrow when streaming is added

We usually don't get midweek information anymore on a Thursday unless we get lucky today.

Anyone like to predict her chart position for Step Back In Time for Friday.

 

 

44. Golden Live 21 probably!

Step Back In Time i think Number 44 or 45 which i would be happy with.

Golden Live, 22.

I hope we dont get a Number 21 and 41.

Remains at #39 today, another 437 sales, 3,474 in total. Touch and go whether it'll remain Top 40 tomorrow.

I would greatly it welcome it holing onto to a Top 40 position but cant see it happening.

Top 45 is very possibly and likely with 4k sales.

It should hold top 45 but top 50 is safe, those sales are good though.

It’s a shame sales in general haven’t really increased from last week...I mean, fortnight before Christmas and around 4000 is all that’s required for top 40. Top albums struggling.

 

At least SBIT is only declining slightly, especially as last week included the extra 400 or so sales on Wednesday from the HMV offer.

 

It needs to stay visible in HMV etc so it can go Gold very soon. Fingers crossed. Golden Live is a nice surprise, £9.99 for a double CD/DVD is a bargain. Hopefully both will have a bit more life the after Christmas with the high profile promo Christmas Day. We might be in for some nice chart rises then.

 

 

I can only see sbit benefiting from the promo and not golden live.

On previous weeks, those sales would have placed Kylie almost in the Top 10.

 

Step Back in Time has closed the week at Number 42.

This is still good, many of thought it would be lower than this last week.

The Number 39 album sold 4,620, therefore Kylie may have cleared 4,200 at an estimate at Number 42.

This werk is 6th best week for sales which isnt bad, just shy of 7500 of gold now, hopefully it will do by end of the year.

It will manage that just fine - it's the week of the Christmas #1 this week but the following week should still see healthy sales as that chart will account for sales from 20th to 26th (i.e. 5 pre-Christmas days where people may be buying CDs as last minute presents).

And from 25th she has promo also

I completely forgot this week is the christmas number 1, I had it for the following with the way it falls.

I don't think she will drop that much this week. Could stay top 60, maybe top 50..….Golden Live maybe put of the top 100?

Ya top 60 should be the worst outcome. I cant see golden live getting a 2nd week on the chart either.

Took 1k to reach the Top 200 last week and Golden Live was only selling 100 copies by Thursday so I'd be surprised if it remained for a second week.
