3 pretty great queens out in a row there

Yeah those three are all pretty great in their own way. Chi Chi was so sweet on All Stars, and I'd definitely like to see the other two return, particularly Peppermint.

Pandora Boxx – Loved her on Season 2 came so close to winning a few challenges but always got piped to the post, she was so sweet & her confessional about her suicide attempt was heartbreaking. Hope she comes back for a future All-Stars season as she was totally shafted on AS1, being paired with that awful Mimi (I would have given up as well).

A’Keria Davenport – Didn’t mind her all that much, became bit of a dark horse throughout Season 11 & her lip-sync against Raja was pretty great and finally sent that sour bitch home.

Bebe Zahara Benet – The first ever winner, not somebody I would have picked (I was backing Nina Flowers), but she was a strong competitor & her appearance on AS3 was a great way for younger fans to get to know her as S1 is pretty forgotten. Her Diana Ross on the Divas challenge was amazing, really captured her to a T.

Chad Michaels – One of my favourite all-time Queens & was one of my top picks for S4 along with Sharon of course. Should be much higher WTF.

Monet X Change – Still gets her mixed up with Monique, but very likeable on S10 & her “Nicki Minaj – Pound The Alarm” lipsync was epic. Her drag has improved a lot on AS4, but not sure if she fully deserved to win. Her X-Change rate show is pretty good though.

Ivy Winters – The only Miss Congeniality (apart from Nina West) not to return for All-Stars, would love to see her again, she had some pretty great looks on S5 – those stilts WOW!.

Peppermint – Great lipsyncer, some busted looks, but still a pretty fabulous Queen all-round.

Chi Chi DeVayne – Very likeable on S8, those blonde locks were stunning, a very cute guy and that ‘And I Am Telling You’ lip-sync was everything & fully deserved the top 4 spot on that season. However on All-Stars 3 she was definitely out of her element, but her one shining moment was her Patti Labelle on Divas week, which was pretty amazing.

Nina Bo’Nina Brown – Had some cool looks, but was pretty miserable all-round, but her lip-sync against Valentina was iconic as everybody was expecting her to leave that week, but Villentina didn’t know the words – TV GOLD.

Personal Commentary:

A HUGE fall for last ranking's runner-up as she takes the third highest tumble down the list in this year's list! I have no idea why she fell this hard but possibly just to do with oversaturation as she has definitely been one of the most prominent queens and maybe the fanbase has just grown a tad tired of her? I was surprised to see only one person give her a top score but she did get a few 10s. Alyssa is definitely iconic and certainly one of a kind but too much of her can get tiring lol. I love her still but I don't necessarily need to see her again for a while lol.

Personal Commentary:

Monique is a tad like Alyssa in the sense that she has this HUGE personality and you really cannot miss her during either of her seasons as she has some of the funniest commentary on pretty much everything BUT I think having her in two concurrent seasons was a bit of an overkill because I was so over her voice by the finale of AS4 lmao. Now that some time has passed I'm back on the Monique Heart train and able to appreciate her more again but her voice can still be a tad grating lol. She was WAY more deserving than Monét of that crown though lbr.

Personal Commentary:

Ongina is such a cool drag queen to me and brings such an interesting style to the scene. As I've mentioned before I have not seen season 1 but I have however seen Ongina live (one of only a handful) and she was great! I hope we'll see her again as she really had the best track record on S1 despite being eliminated fifth lol. She was also the first queen to be open about being HIV Positive and bringing awareness to what having HIV means in this day and age.

Another season 1 queen falls immediately and it's the androgynous queen herself Nina Flowers. She's definitely a queen I want to see again because I'm just so fascinated by her. She's a weird one but she didn't stop by long enough on AS1 for me to really grasp what she can bring to the table and while she did place second I can't imagine the season 1 filter working wonders on someone with such an interesting style.

Personal Commentary:

Courtney Act is definitely one of those queens whose popularity absolutely soared after RPDR as she's been VERY busy doing everything except All Stars lmao (which she wouldn't be allowed on anyway). Shane's been on Celebrity Big Brother (which they won), Dancing With The Stars Australia (where they placed second) as well as in the Australian national final for Eurovision in 2019 (where they placed 4th). They also hosted flop dating show The Bi Life in 2018. Courtney on the show was actually not that likeable if I'm being honest? She seemed full of herself and was a bit of a bully towards Joslyn but in CBB Shane was such a sweetheart it's hard to believe they are the same person. I don't think Courtney was unbearable but upon rewatch she wasn't quite as enjoyable as I remembered.

 

Not a HUGE fan of any of those 5, but Monique did grow on me a lot during AS4

Yes at Tammie Brown being the highest season 1 queen

Alyssa Edwards - WTF, why such a large decline - she is epic, she really made season 5 a strong season with her rivalry with Coco (look how orange you f***ing look) & 'Backrolls' of course, loved it when she cut Jade Jolie down to size (totally deserved it). Very unfairly shafted on All-Stars thanks to 'Rollerdex', she should have been kept in over the flatling Roxxy. But glad Alyssa still makes appearances on the show, hilarious every time.

Monique Heart - Definitely came off better on All-Stars 4 than she did on S10 (shame she didn't know the words in that lip-sync against the terrible 'Vixen', think she could have easily sent that bitch packing otherwise). Came back full force with that hilarious brown cow song. Also glad she had a much better track record on AS4 than on S10. That season started strong but lost its way towards the last few episodes, Cameron Michaels finalist :cry:

Ongina - Thought she'd be much higher, loved her on S1 & had a decent track record with 2 wins in just 5 episodes, she had tons of energy and personality, along with such a unique style. Apparently she's coming back for AS5, this has to be true.

Nina Flowers - My fave from S1 & the one I was backing for the WIN, but I guess BeBe was chosen because she had more of a traditional look & Rupaul liked the idea of an African Queen winning. Just love her & had a brilliant track record on S1 (never ending up in the B2), but very unfairly shafted on AS1, hope she comes back for a future All-Stars season, as she brings a lot to the drag community, so fierce.

Courtney Act - Definitely one of the prettiest queens in Drag Race herstory & did have a pretty good run on the show 2 wins & never lip-synced for her life, never understood why Michelle didn't like her, but a pretty solid queen all-round.

Alyssa, Monique, Ongina and Nina. What a bunch *.* All CERTAINLY way too low!!

I'm so surprised at Alyssa. But not sad. She definitely has something but I always think she is overrated

 

Nina is an excellent queen, as is Courtney, Monique is far less polished but very likeable, and Ongina is one of my faves. Bring her back!

I really couldn't warm to Monique in season 10, but I've just finished watching AS4 on Netflix and she was SO much more enjoyable!! :wub:

Fifth winner out is season 7 winner Violet who to me felt very strange as a winner as while she was great at the runway most of the time she didn't really have the X Factor as a whole when it came to the rest of the challenges RPDR throws your way. I personally think Ginger Minj was the real winner in S7 and then Ru wouldn't feel the need to shove that awfully annoying OTTNN big girl who shall not be named down our throats just to be able to have a big girl win ugh. Violet had some great runways though I'll repeat that and she was somewhat fun at times but upon my first watch I was shoqued that she won over both Pearl, who had a better storyline/more growth, and Ginger, who was just an overall better queen.

First season to lose all of its' queens is unsurprisingly season 1 but THANKFULLY the stars have aligned and BJ has crowned Tammie Brown as the rightful winner of the season of sepia. This is especially impressive as Tammie has been on a total of four episodes in the span of two seasons lmao. Tammie is however honestly one of the funniest queens to ever have been on RPDR and I honestly just crack up looking at her face. Good job with this one Buzzjack!

Haven't seen season one yet but it's very unsurprising to see it lose all of its' queens first out of all the seasons. A lot of people haven't seen it, which Ru acknowledged in the S10 finale as he allowed the S1 queens the chance to lip sync against the then-current queens. Tammie is definitely the rightful reigning queen here and none of the placements really surprise me. There's not a whole lot of difference in placements between the Top 4 queens though so one more vote could easily have changed this whole thing.

I am SO happy to see Blair this high as I have been a fan of hers since pre-season 10. She's just such a sweet queen and had so much potential although she was perhaps too early on the show and needed a bit of time to grow.. and grow indeed she has. Post-show Blair is way beyond improved. She's not only shown off some amazing looks on her instagram page but she's also released some BANGERS such as "Now or Never" :wub: :wub: I really hope we get to see her again sooner rather than later!
