Apparently Elecktra Bionic got asked for the upcoming Canada Vs The World but declined! I think it's an interesting gag to have a winner on, as someone who had a smaller platform etc but whilst I doubt they would do it for a winner such as Envy or Carmen, imagine say some random UK early out having to compete with Carmen steamrolling :lol:

Drag Race Belgium announced today, initially I thought maybe it replaces Netherlands but it's the French part of Belgium hosting it

Drag Race Canada 3 has just filmed and airs in July which is much quicker than I thought, possibly to make room for Canada vs The World in its normal slot towards the end of the year.

 

Meanwhile Drag Race Philippines apparently is November when it filmed months ago :lol:

Lawrence Chaney clarifies that they are they/them genderfluid on Jinkx Monsoon's podcast, and that they experienced some dysphoria from Ru's consistent use of he/him on DRUKS2.

Rita Baga or Vanessa Van Cartier have both been rumoured to host Drag Race Belgique, the former would be really random, like I think it should always be a local queen who knows the scene and as much as I think Rita would be great, it’s kind of a slap in the face to Belgian queens - “none of you are good enough we'll get the Canadian” :lol:

Rita is confirmed as the host, it’s thought that DR Holland is being revamped and VVC is hosting instead of Fred

That's a shame, I liked Fred and VVC was really just ok.

I much prefer Vanessa to Fred and hopefully she won’t make any odd decisions like the bottom 3 lipsync, keeping Vivaldi in, Ivy Elyse winning the lipsync but being eliminated?

Somehow I can't see VVC playing fair given her own track record... happy to be corrected though.

VVC was the one getting the favouritism :lol: I don’t really think she has the personality or flair but I’ll gladly be proven wrong if so
