I'm naturally gutted that Myleene made it so close and Matt swiped it, but I know she'll be gracious and want her fans to be so aswell, so I'll remain calm :lol:

 

Congratulations to Matt, and also to Myleene for making it so far, and being the true star of the show for me :) I feel like people know her a lot better and hopefully she can go on to great things from here!

Just the fact that all of the teeny Busted lovers voted in their droves to make him win despite barely being featured in the show proves why such programmes as ROTY were revised in a new format.

I was sure that David was going to win, and I think that he was definately the star of the show this year :cheer:

 

However, I am very glad that Matt won :party: . His trial was fantastic last night and it actually made me pick up the phone for the first time all series. He was a slow starter, but this last week he has been really good. He was definately overshadowed in the beginning, but he said himself in his interview that he's not that confident - and it takes him a while to feel comfortable in a new group of people. It didn't help that there were some big characters in there as well, but it's nice that the 2 nicest, normal and quiet members ended up fighting it out for the title.

I was flabbergasted when I got home from my work's Xmas Do, turned on Ceefax & found out that Matt had won, at the expense of the stars of the series Myleene Klass & David Gest. :o

 

I mean what did Matt do all series that was so entertaining?????

 

I now fully expect the McD Bros to win X-Factor 3. :(

Why are you all blaming teenage girls? :blink: It's not like he's was still really popular beforehand and I am a teenage girl, no and I voted numourous times during the series for him and he probably wouldn't have won it if it wasn't for the trial he did last night and with what he did actually being SHOWN near the end rather than being cut out to see Jan crying instead. :mellow:
