Good question Alex, let's Hope Rudebox 2 happens one day

Also like the idea of doing a tour singing songs from one album entirely , I think I might like LTAL to begin with , he could maybe talk abut the songs on the album like he did recently when he talked abut writing Eternity , would be a nice idea for one of those one man shows

If I saw Robbie just as an entertainer I would not still be a fan, I love his lyrics as a songwriter & his skill as a storyteller , sometimes he does not give himself enough credit

I wonder if the person he co-wrote the tv show with is Jimmy Carr

Looks like we have a lot to look forward to in the coming years

Robbie Williams Rewind Podcast made it into Rolling Stone Magazine ( Germany )

Robbie Williams announces two new solo albums for 2023

In a podcast interview, Robbie Williams revealed that he wants to release two new solo albums. The podcast "Robbie Williams Rewind" has been produced by the two self-proclaimed "superfans" Matt and Lucy Champion since 2021. In the current episode, they interviewed Williams. They talked about the past, private matters, the lows and highs of his career, but also about the future. Williams shared with me that he would be releasing two albums "very soon." One before the summer of 2023. Unlike on "XXV", the focus will not be on processing old material. A first publication of old material like in the UNDER THE RADAR series is also not planned. So there will be completely new music by Robbie Williams.

Insights into the future

There should also be new air house music; Lufthaus is his current electrical project. However, it is uncertain whether Lufthaus will ever release an entire album. "It's more of a live thing," says Williams. He goes on to say that he has painted a lot and is also planning to build a luxury hotel in Dubai.

Concerts in Germany have been announced both for his solo tour and together with Lufthaus . The whole interview is available on Spotify and should also be available on YouTube “soon” (as of January 9th, 2023) because it was conducted via Zoom.

I still like Intensive Care (it was when I became a fan) and RKTVS which has songs like Blasphemy

Intensive Care is also one of my favourites Elisabeth . Remember he launched the album in Berlin where he sang eight of the songs from the album live

rewindrobbie Have you listened to our interview with @robbiewilliams yet?

We’ve had lots of lovely feedback following our two hour chat with Rob. Thank you to everyone who’s sent us messages, we appreciated every one of them.

We’ve received some amazing podcast chart positions globally too - we were the No.1 music commentary podcast in Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg and Norway, No.3 in Austria, No.4 in Great Britain, Australia and Denmark. Top 30 in many other countries too. We even reached 113 in USA - not bad when he ‘only has one American fan’😂!!

Link to listen in our bio.

Only a few days until the European tour starts! We can’t wait to see everyone’s photos and videos, and find out what the slightly altered setlist might be.

Robbie Williams stars as voice of Felix the cat in new pet food advert

Robbie Williams sings It’s Great To Be a Cat for the popular cat food brand.

The cat is out of the bag as Robbie Williams will star as the voice of Felix, the feline behind the cat food brand, in a newly recorded song.

The 48-year-old pop star sings It’s Great To Be A Cat, a tune set to feature in new Felix adverts.

Williams, who found fame with hit boyband Take That before embarking on a successful solo career, said his involvement with pet care business Purina has partly been inspired by having “many feline friends over the years”.

“I’ve been a long-time fan of cats,” he said.

“After studying their fascinating behaviour, I can confidently say, It’s Great To Be A Cat

He wrote and created the track, available at FelixandRobbie.com, and also appears in a short film alongside an animated Felix, premiering on Wednesday at 5pm.

“I’m so excited to be launching our latest It’s Great To Be A Cat campaign with Robbie Williams,” senior brand manager at Purina UK & Ireland Rebecca Marshall said.

Felix and Robbie Williams team up in a purrfect pairing

Robbie Williams announced as the new voice of Felix, the cat behind the tastiest cat food, beloved by felines around the world

Robbie Williams has recorded a brand-new song, ‘It’s Great To Be a Cat’, which will feature in the new Felix adverts

Today, Purina, Europe’s leading pet care business, announces that Robbie Williams has recorded a brand-new song, as the new voice of the most mischievous cat around, Felix. Felix the cat is, of course, the face of one of the best loved foods for UK cats, with Felix being one of the recognisable brands in Purina’s wide-ranging pet food portfolio.

The internationally acclaimed recording artist will star in a film premiere in which he will unveil a new exclusive track written and recorded specifically for this new Europe-wide Felix advertising campaign, ‘It’s Great To Be a Cat’.

Taking inspiration from Robbie’s own adored cats, as well as the mischievous antics of Felix, the global superstar wrote and created an iconic track especially for Felix, celebrating the glorious life of cats. As the new voice of Felix, the musician takes a theatrical turn when he co-stars in a short film alongside (who some might say is the real start of the show) the infamous cat, Felix. The cheeky duo is captured getting up to mischief as they team up for the grand premiere of their new collaboration. In the film, Robbie plays second fiddle to Felix as he tries to record the CATchy earworm, with an accompanying orchestra.

Robbie Williams said: “The cat is out of the bag, I’m the new voice of Felix. I’ve been a long-time fan of cats, I’ve had many feline friends over the years and after studying their fascinating behaviour, I can confidently say, It’s Great To Be a Cat.”

Available here from January 25th 2023, the new track shines a light on how cats really do live their best lives, just like the one and only Felix. Focusing on their independence, cheekiness and ability to always land on their feet, the song will also be available to stream on Spotify.

Fabio Degli Esposti, Group Marketing Director at Purina, said: “Combining our much-loved Felix food and treasured Felix-the-cat character, with the one-and-only Robbie Williams, gives us our best recipe yet. The two being mischievous together in their very own film premiere, shows exactly why they’re the perfect fit”.

Rebecca Marshall, Senior Brand Manager at Purina UK&I, said: “I’m so excited to be launching our latest It’s Great To Be a Cat campaign with Robbie Williams. The two truly are the pURRfect match and the new track is one that will definitely get everyone in a playful mood.”

The launch of the partnership also debuts the premiere of Felix’s latest advert, which will air exclusively on YouTube at 5pm GMT on Wednesday 25th January. Following this, cat lovers and Felix fans can catch the new song on prime-time TV slots, BVOD, Connected TV, Meta, and TikTok.

Robbie Williams pays tribute as Tim Clark retires from ie:music

5X6BGvQ.png

Tim Clark has announced his retirement from ie:music ltd, the management company he established in 1992 with David Enthoven.

Clark is handing over control of the company to long-serving directors Michael Loney, Nina Parnaby and Stephen O’Reilly. The London-based firm remains an independent management company. At the directors’ request, Clark will become honorary chairman of ie:music and continue as a consultant to the company for a further two years – taking him well into his 80th year.

Clark and Enthoven - who died in 2016 - had huge success with stars including Robbie Williams.

Tim Clark said: "My partnership with David was never less than a joy and how lucky we were to represent Robbie Williams throughout his magnificent solo career. I’d like to thank Robbie, all of the other talented artists and wonderful ie:music staff members I’ve been so privileged to work with over the years. It is a bittersweet moment after so long, but I am delighted to remain involved with ie:entertainment, so brilliantly run by Lucy Pullin.”

Michael Loney said: “We are so grateful to Tim for his years of leadership, mentorship and service. David and Tim will always be known as giants of the music industry, and I am eternally grateful to have gained so much knowledge from them over the past 20 years. Myself, my fellow directors and the fantastic ie team will carry their ethos forward by working tirelessly for the artists, continuing to put their needs and talents first. Thank you, Tim, from the bottom of our hearts."

Robbie Williams said: “Tim and David have been such an incredible influence on my life, both professionally and personally. We sadly lost David almost seven years ago, and we all miss him every day. I don’t know where I would be without the support and guidance of them both - they came into my life at the time I really needed them. Thank you, Tim, for the best ride.”

Tim Clark will retain his interests in ie:entertainment, the TV and film production company, and ie:east, the Australian management company.
