So there you have it folks from Trump's mouth. The NHS is safe.

You're a fool if you believe that for one second. The US has already had talks and discussions in secret with the UK over it and they will do nothing but f*** the UK over if given the chance, which the Tories will give them.

Not to mention that Trumps has lied so many times, there's no reason to believe him. Trump himself may not still be president by the time trade deal talks properly start, if they do.

Esher & Walton is looking rather beautifully close, I really hope that's one seat where tactical voting takes hold in all its glory.

Indeed looks like there's a huge swing to the Lib Dems!

obviously rehearsed Trump segments and he has definitely thought and salivated over destroying the NHS before but I find it more amusing how he can't keep a handle on his ego and has to mention his great record at electioneering in a statement where he was denying electioneering.
Who let the Raab out? Every time he opens his mouth, he just reveals how thick he is. Let's hope he gets his P45 next week.

Boris will need a new Foreign Secretary then.

There's plenty of better candidates, preferably they will be given the shadow foreign secretary position.

It would take more than just tactical voting, as he had well over 50% of the vote last time.

:D

Latest constituency poll puts Con on 46% and Lib on 41%, a downward trend to Con and Labour's 9% seeing which way the wind is blowing make it a possibility.

Yeah can't see him losing his seat at all.

I think Emily Thornberry will most likely still have that. ;)

I can, his constituency are quite angry with him from videos of hustings I've seen, would be a great moment!

No she's struggling in her seat too

Can't see a 20k majority being overturned.

From Sky News:

Donald Trump has promised to stay out of the UK general election as he visits for the NATO summit - but said Boris Johnson will do a good job.

Mr Trump said he backed Brexit, and even predicted it, as he spoke to reporters alongside NATO's secretary general Jens Stoltenberg.

Asked about interfering in the 12 December poll, Mr Trump said: "I don't want to complicate it. I've won a lot of elections for a lot of people."

He went on: "I'll stay out of the election. I'm a fan of Brexit, I called it. I was here, they asked if it was going to happen and I said yes and they smiled, it was just my opinion.

"I'll stay out of it, but Boris is very capable and I think he will do a good job."

Asked about whether the NHS would be discussed between US and UK officials for a future trade deal after Brexit, he said: "No, not at all. I have nothing to do with it. Never even thought about it, honestly.

"I don't even know where that rumour started.

Maybe the rumour started when Trump said everything would be on the table in trade negotiations. Just a suggestion.

As for his idiotic comment about the referendum, that doesn't really tie in with him asking what the B word meant after the referendum had happened.

It's def possible with the LD popularity in pro remain London!

The same Trump who just today even lied that he "doesn't know Prince Andrew" despite being photographed together lots of times? Does it not occur to you that this might actually be a lie too?

Don't be so thick, wake up!

Hustings make good TV, but I think would be unwise to draw conclusions from them, as they are generally attended by the more politically active and thus not very representative of voters in general.

After all, in 2016 all we heard was hate, hate, hate for Trump, but no-one bothered asking Middle America... <_<

Well he does meet a lot of people every year.... Suppose he can't remember everyone. :)

There will be no Boris interview with Andrew Neil as No.10 says he now has no time to fit it in to his busy schedule with the election being next Thursday. We have his This Morning appearance to look forward to though.
