I was just about to say that, the Top 3 is absolute dire, worst top 3 I have seen in ages, and Westlife for a second week is beyond me, who the hell is buying a cover version after another cover version, can't they write their own material for once, they are releasing another GHs next year, and guess what the album will be full of covers again :rolleyes:

I am looking forward to seeing what position Take That manage on downloads by then end of the week. I fully expect them to be Top 10 at least. :)

Its fair to say its a $h!tE top 3 but its all down to opinion. There is obviously a market for Westlife whether we like them or their songwriting techniques or not. Westlife HAD the most popular single of last week, whether it be a cover or not.

 

All people do in this thread (and last week's mids thread) is moan moan moan about the injustice of it all. After a while you just need to let it be.

I'd be happy with that too. The Chart could look particularly retro if Westlife, All Saints and Take That are all in the Top 5, but they would have never been in the same chart all together before.

What a dreadful top two. Love the JT song so i dont mind that being top 3. I was hoping for a chart topper with him, still its close so he could still do it!!! That Akon is 3 odd minutes of pure drivel - he must have made that waste up in 5 minutes, all he says is smack that how original!!!!

There are too many US R&B clones around at the mo.

Altho it would be cool to see Take That do a Gnarls as Mikey said before, its a nice song and deserves to do particularly well.

PS. Am gobsmacked some awesome dance tunes not even going top 100 - namely Dirty Old Ann, Fireflies and Armin van Buuren. On a high note, Lo Rider going top 150 downloads only am hoping for a high entry on the chart next week!!!

Hopefully Take That will do a Gnarls Barkley & be number 1 on downloads alone by Sunday.
