Thursday's sales are always artificial though and will be estimated based on the relatively lower total from the Wednesday so won't get the Xmas day effect.

I think by 2025 the OCC would have banned all old Christmas songs from charting too, I expect it will happen next year after there is an inevitable mass takeover this Christmas.

Yep I thought it may have happened after last year considering OCC changed the rules specifically to lessen the effect of the Xmas Chart takeover but it turned out even stronger than in 2017 :lol:
