Posted November 22, 20195 yr So GRAMMY Nominations are out there and a fair amount of people are surprised/upset that 'Never Really Over' didn't get nominated. Do you think it deserved to?
November 22, 20195 yr Author For me, Yes. One of my favourite pop songs of the year and it absolutely deserved a nomination at the very least. :( I am so gutted for her.
November 22, 20195 yr It's a really strong pop song, great composition and hook, and there was a lot of hype at the time of its release, so yeah I'd say rit was deserving. Tbf it is a good category of nominations. I'd personally gave switched Beyonce for Katy but I suppose the soundtrack for The Lion King was better received in the US than here.
December 21, 20195 yr I got into a very heated debate with a relative over whether or not we really went to the moon forty years ago today. I think we did and they thought we didnt and it got hot quick but in the end we agreed to disagree. Did we not go to the moon?...........Southforkwally

December 22, 20195 yr From the perspective that it's better than any song that is actually nominated in the 'Best Pop Solo Performance' category, than yeah, I guess it did deserve a nom.
December 29, 20195 yr At the very least it deserved a dance recording nomination if not a nomination in the pop categories where it’s better than a good few of those what got nominated. And that’s coming from someone who I isn’t a massive Katy fan. But when she gets it right she gets it very right. Definitely deserved a nomination I’m still surprised she never got one tbh.
