Is it anywhere near charting officially?

Streaming really seems to have dumped ‘Santa Baby’ after they were all over it and helped it go Top 40 a few years back - I wish they would get hind one of her other Christmas songs.

They appear to have moved on from it, im supporting it as i always enjoy success for Kylie.

As a song, it is not a Christmas song i would play too often.

 

Il be disappointed if it doesnt chart at all this year as I was sure it would go top 75.

It really feels like a forgotten song now after looking like it was going to become a Christmas staple - even though I’m not a fan of SB I’d love her to get a yearly boost/hit like Mariah, Leona, Ariana etc.,

Christmas isnt christmas till u get here is higher in ireland than santa baby, didn't see that coming.

 

That needs to become the Christmas song she's known for in years to come, it's certainly the one I go to.

It would be nice if it could take off and get some annual sales and chart but I don't think it will ever happen, I wish it could be christmas every day live from Albert hall is her Christmas song I go to, i really live the live version.

Christmas Isn't Christmas Til You Get Here is one of the strongest Kylie has to offer regarding Christmas material.

I think when Kylie released Kylie Christmas, she made the mistake of not promoting a main single.

There was no single song that was pushed.

In hindsight, if Christmas Isn't Christmas Til You Get Here was pushed back then it could possibly be doing something now.

Its also unlikely to get any further performances from Kylie so it will be a lost Christmas song outside the Kylie fanbase.

 

What I've been thinking since 2015, is that song really needs to be used in an advert. It's PERFECT for it!

Santa Baby has done very well and helped Kylie achieve another Top 40 hit with very good sales.

I think some of us welcome another Kylie song performing well and i do agree that Christmas Isn't Christmas Til You Get Here could benefit greatly if used with a good TV commercial.

 

I'd love people to move onto a new kylie festive song too and get her another chart entry.

I think partly because these days it's the only time a lot of people acknowledge her existence, and it'd be nice if she was known for something else. :lol:

Ya I agree, and it's an opportunity to expand on it at Christmas.

In general, it is very hard for any new Christmas songs to make progress, Leona Lewis and Coldplay are 2 of the few in recent years who managed great success with Christmas singles.

I dont think Kylie is enough flavour of the month to achieve another long stay Christmas selling single.

 

I feel the same, while I'd love it to happen I cant see it.

I am starting to fear Santa Baby wont make its yearly Top 100 return this year.

This would be disappointing considering Kylie has had a very active 2019.
