November 29, 20196 yr Author We stan Ellie having the highest new Christmas song of the year! (although it really should be the Joni Mitchell version in its place as a classic)
November 29, 20196 yr Author OPs Updated 'Shotgun' exiting the chart at long last is great to see. :cheer: In other news, despite what the OCC webpage would otherwise say, a big congratulations to 'Fairytale Of New York' which spends its 100th week in the chart! :cheer: And after 57 weeks 'Bohemian Rhapsody (OST)'s streaming points are now being given to 'Greatest Hits' leading it to completely bomb out of the chart from #19 having spent the entirety of its chart life in the top 20. Although it seemingly would have fell out of the top 20 anyway as GH re-enters at #24.

December 1, 20196 yr Pleased to see Coldplay just about managing to keep 3 songs in the top 100 (and 'Orphans' returning to its peak) - a shame that 'Daddy' dropped out after being their third song in the midweek update but 'Church' was one of the best songs on the album too so can't complain too much at that taking its place. 'Champion Of The World' managing to be their second highest track despite being so late on the album is quite impressive but then again it is just about the only other song besides 'Orphans' and maybe 'Everyday Life' that sounds like it was made with the charts in mind! Also :') at 'Bohemian Rhapsody' dropping off the album chart entirely this time - it briefly had its streams transferred to 'Greatest Hits' earlier on in its run as well but that only caused it to drop about 10 places that time IIRC. I'm sure it'll be back again at some point.
December 2, 20196 yr And after 57 weeks 'Bohemian Rhapsody (OST)'s streaming points are now being given to 'Greatest Hits' leading it to completely bomb out of the chart from #19 having spent the entirety of its chart life in the top 20. Although it seemingly would have fell out of the top 20 anyway as GH re-enters at #24. I'm sure it'll be back again at some point. Down from #19 to #199! :o :') ~ The Greatest Showman OST falling out of the Top 20 after 99 weeks inside... that's a shame, it would have been an interesting feat if it had managed 100. ~ Re: Shotgun... Marshmello's Tongue Tied at #100 sold 6,120, while Shotgun's ACR weekly figure is 6,119. :o So it's technically #101, but there's no official positions lower than Top 100. Shallow's ACR figure this week is 5,429, its theoretical position would be #110.
December 2, 20196 yr The Bohemian Rapsody thing is a mess. Pity the Greatest Showman didn't make it into the top 20 again for one more week :(
December 2, 20196 yr the occ have made up lots of stupid rules, but what they're doing with greatest hits and how they allocate streams is one of their worst rules, makes no sense at all, streams should count towards the album you're streaming the song from... if you stream Queen's Innuendo from the album Innuendo, then the album Innuendo should get those streams, not some Greatest Hits that you never ever streamed, it's ridiculous

December 2, 20196 yr yes I know but why it has to count for a compilation if you're not streaming that compilation? it should count only from where you're streaming and thats it what they've done with the bohemian rhapsody movie soundtrack is beyond ridiculous
