June 5, 20205 yr This has had an unexpectedly long chart run, it deserved to peak so much higher but honestly it’s performed wonderfully in the grand scheme of things. I want an album now lol
June 5, 20205 yr Even a second single to tide us over for a bit, wonder if the tour will go ahead in October

July 2, 20204 yr Author Tour rescheduled again, a sensible decision as it doesn't seem like big gatherings will quite be back on the cards by October @1278706127153229826
July 2, 20204 yr I hope 2 June will be okay, I may be in Greece on my last year of school mates trip  I literally came in to post the same thing as y'all, hurry tf up :drama: Carmit hinted in an insta live they were heading towards shared vocals, Alexa play Etta James' At Last! Tbf the reunion happen very quickly (they weren't altogether in a room until a week before The X factor performance) so they might not've recorded anything.
July 18, 20204 yr While we wait for a new single I feel the need to say Carnot Bachar is the most underrated girlband member of all time like what the f***? I love her voice so much, she actually got a whole verse on their cover of Tainted Love *.* An actual verse :cheeseblock: w37thYX6aYM Obviously Nicole is the only one with a ‘superstar’ voice but honestly I don’t think the other girls are bad at all, apart from Kimberley maybe. Carmit, Jessica are more than decent vocally, Ashley has her moments too. Melody always gets the title of 2nd best behind Nicole for some reason but I prefer Carmit/Jessica.
July 18, 20204 yr Melody has a good voice but has absolutely no quality control. It’s a shame she felt the need to do all that screeching in PCD that would make Jessie J retire, because when she restrains she acc sounds quite nice and has a lovely tone to her voice: 4V61K_fGRwc
September 9, 20204 yr This is still a bop but I still don't get why nobody else has a single solo. Like, there just isn't a reason for it. It's over 3 minutes long and Nicole has dominated their entire discography for years and there's been so much backlash and jokes about how much she's pushed to the front, there's been obvious tension and awkwardness in the group about it and everyone is desperate to hear the other girls sing (including the girls themselves obviously) and with their big comeback single they had a chance to reinvent their sound and push other members a bit and it's still essentially a Nicole solo song. I know it's been discussed to death and 'Nicole is the lead singer !1" but it still doesn't make any sense from absolutely ANY angle - commercial, artistic or personal. EVERYBODY wins by giving the other girls a quick solo here and there. What's not clicking???
September 9, 20204 yr Yeah agreed, they could have quite easily gave a tiny bit of the first verse between 2 of the other girls, bit if the 2nd verse between the other 2 and Nicole could have still done the rest giving her still over half of the song to be solo or lead vocals on. Wonder if it was more of a timing thing, like Nicole obviously records the full song to herself then they got a few others in for bit of quick recorded backing vocals rather than getting them in to record more. I don't even think Kim's vocals are in this at all. Hopefully if we do get more singles / albums they'll record them properly as a group. Edited September 9, 20204 yr by Lukuzz

When the girls have been asked about shared vocals they've all given the 'erm we all have voices that deserve to be heard' generic answer. I really don't get it, they all can sound good on record and I reckon all of them bar maybe Kimberly could pull off a few lines live. i’ll tell you what was clicking - the pens of the other dolls when they signed a contract knowing the terms! if they weren’t happy, they wouldn’t be back in the group. see: melody. I doubt it's written into the contract that Nicole sings everything. Carmit had solos in Beep, Buttons and I Don't Need A Man out of their singles and Jessica also has a great voice, there's no reasons why those two at least couldn't sing some cute lines. I'm pretty sure Carmit has 'liked' stuff on social media from fans asking the other girls to sing and one of the other girls said in an interview that they wanted to get some more vocals.
