Okay, I've had some time to digest it all and get over just how amazing he was in all of it :kink:

Admittedly, if you're not a fan of Shawn or are just a casual listener, it probably isn't going to do anything for you, or make you any more interested. This very much feels like a treat for the fans with a behind the scenes look at the tour, some of the highlights (although I wish there was far more content from the tour - hopefully the surprise announcement tonight relates to that!), some emotional moments, and a peek into his childhood and where he started out his career. It's definitely not groundbreaking in terms of music documentaries, but it was such a treat to even have it!!

It just seemed so honest and down to earth - it didn't try to be dramatic and it didn't try to prove this or that, it was just following him doing what he loves, seeing how he tackled some of the obstacles that came up on tour, and how he just soldiered on through and didn't want to let anybody down. He's honestly the purest soul ever and you can just tell how much he loves it, how much he loves his family, how much he... loves life.

It was SO good to see some of the recording sessions from Wonder. I was actually surprised at just how involved he actually is in the production / recording process - taking control and putting himself right at the heart of it all. Anybody that doubts he's actually a songwriter, I... have to laugh x

The sneak peeks at some of the songs from Wonder just ended me, and I'm SO fkn excited for the album, it's going to be a moment. :cheeseblock:

Look forward to watching the documentary again at some point because it was such a pleasant, endearing, emotional watch. He continues to make me so happy and proud

And I'll leave it on this note (you're welcome) x

Looking forward to watching the documentary  (not just for that scene  )

I watched this documentary this afternoon. I agree with the criticisms that nothing really happens. If you're a massive fan, I'm sure it's great, but for casual fans there's nothing much to appreciate. It is nice to have an insight into a little of his personal life, although it's not featured too much.

Above all he looks GORGEOUS throughout so it is worth a watch just for that. And I have a new found love for 'Wonder' again now as it's featured quite heavily towards the end.
