Xmas songs falling at a similar rate to last year although there were 4 xmas tracks top 10 still, think The Pogues were there too but then there has been less tracks doing well this year I suppose.

On the weekly chart

1) Mariah -5.5m

2) Wham!- 5.4m

3) Brenda Lee - 4m

Both Mariah and Wham are up on last year (Wham by about 340k) due to only having one post-Xmas day chart counted in the week

D-Block Europe with lots of entries at Apple, the 3 highest being:

#14 No cellular site

#17 Creep

#29 Molly World

J Hus is also doing well at #35 with No Denying

also nice to see the Rosalia Remix of Highest in the Room at #57 on Apple

So J Hus did release, should be the instant add on radio 1s playlist then.

Yes, it's been out since midnight

Most girl and boy groups have a 4/5 year life span.

They've done well then considering, I think they will split up soon and become TV presenters full time like the Saturdays. Although they could change their music style and go middle of the road like P!nk and Lady Gaga have and continue on for a while yet.

Does anyone know if Ellie Goulding “River” will be released to Spotify anytime soon?

Yeh that's what I meant. Usually these bands have to go away for 5-10 years and come back with mor style music.

I imagine it will be at least a year. Same as Katy Perry.

When was Cozy Little Christmas actually added?

ugh can we please just have the Christmas songs back over that mess

lots of D-Block Europe with No Cellular Site at #13 being the highest

the Rosalia Mix of Highest in the Room at #15

Also a bunch of Jackboys tracks

Looking likely 'No Cellular Site' will be their highest charting song to date especially as it also has a music video. Wonderful xxx

They're doing better on Apple Music (as they usually do) with 'No Cellular Site' at #8 there, and their second highest song there is actually 'Molly World' at #14 with 'Creep' at #16, wonder why there's such a large difference there between the platforms.

'JACKBOYS & Travis Scott' - JACKBOYS

15 HIGHEST IN THE ROOM (Remix) (Travis Scott feat. ROSALÍA & Lil Baby)

25 GANG GANG (JACKBOYS & Sheck Wes)

28 HAD ENOUGH (Don Toliver feat. Quavo & Offset)

33 GATTI (JACKBOYS, Pop Smoke & Travis Scott)

34 WHAT TO DO? (JACKBOYS feat. Don Toliver)

35 OUT WEST (JACKBOYS feat. Young Thug)

61 JACKBOYS (JACKBOYS)

Everything about the tags on this EP is an inconsistent mess  The EP as a whole is ostensibly credited to 'JACKBOYS & Travis Scott', but only 5 of the 7 songs list JACKBOYS as an 'artist' (it's just the collective name for all the artists on Travis' label, i.e. him, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes and Luxury Tax plus some others who aren't on this EP). Travis is on 5 of these songs but he's only credited as an artist on 2 of them. Don is on 3 but only credited on 2 (and on one of those he's listed as a featured artist). Sheck is on 2 but only credited on 1. Luxury Tax isn't credited as an artist on the one song he's on. And out of the guest artists not on Travis' label most are listed as features but Pop Smoke is a joint lead credit on his song. There's just no consistency on any level. On top of that the song titled 'JACKBOYS' (which is just a 50 second instrumental) was originally called 'INTRO' despite being track 2  and 'HAD ENOUGH' is in all caps on the EP but not on its individual single release which is what's appearing in the actual Spotify chart lol ~

Curious to see how many songs will be allowed to chart from this EP, I would assume it'll just be limited to 3 (unless the EP is counted as a various artists compilation) but it's possible 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM' and 'HAD ENOUGH' will count towards the 3-song limits for Travis and Don respectively, allowing 3 songs for 'JACKBOYS' so a total of 5 from the EP. Either way it looks like 'GANG GANG' will be one of the songs that charts which will technically remove Sheck Wes' status as a one hit wonder (it might even chart higher than 'Mo Bamba').

ROSALÍA in the UK Spotify top 20 :cheer: (shame it's just a remix so won't count as an official hit for her but get that exposure x)
