Following how popular his collab with Yungblud was last year, MGK announced his next album will be a 'rock album' and the lead single 'why are you here' is out now! Absolutely loving this, can absolutely hear the influence of 'I Think I'm OKAY'. And will be the first and only MGK album I'm looking forward to

This is titled 'Tickets To My Downfall', entirely produced by Travis Barker and will be released this year - in the studio some of the names he's been working with have been Chris Fronzak of Atilla, Mod Sun, blackbear, Kevin Gruft of Escape the Fate and Bert McCracken of The Used!

This is a bit of a banger! It's also been confirmed that 'why are you here' will not be on the album.

I am so here for MGK's pop-punk direction now.

'Bloody Valentine' sounds fun. 'why are you here' is also a tune.

The new songs and pretty much the change of genre are fascinating. I want more singing and guitar-based MGK. LOL

Bloody Valentine is easily one of my top songs of the year, I haven't grown bored of it at all since it released. The next single, 'Concert For Aliens' is out on August 5th! This preview sounds amazing, hopefully the album isn't too far away now.

"my ex's best friend" feat. blackbear also released this week - it's decent enough but easily the weakest out of the three. The album though has been confirmed for September 25th!

forget me too featuring Halsey is out tomorrow. Quite enjoyed the last single and Halsey is always a great choice

Ignore me the album is out tomorrow isn't it

Some thoughts about some of the tracks:

- 'forget me too' is aptly not very memorable. At least for now.

- 'lonely' feels a bit insincere with the rather energetic backing music. And that talk part at the end...

- 'WWIII' is fun. Easily my favourite track.

What a fantastic album this is, I'll definitely be playing it loads. Not a single did track, I hope MGK doesn't abandon this sound after this! (He has 3 songs with Yungblud and The Used to release at the end of the year thankfully)

"my ex's best friend" is also up to #44 this week! Hopefully it can make the top 40 next week

"Sold Out" Deluxe version out today :o He's going for the #1 album in America! #4 in the midweeks for the UK today, very impressive as he's never had a top 40 album before here. 'body bag' in particular is a banger!

New tracks:

16. body bag (feat. Yungblud & Bert McCracken of The Used)

17. hangover cure

18. split a pill

19. can't look back

20. mystery business (Paramore cover)

21. bloody valentine (Acoustic)

'drunk face' video also came out yesterday:

Forget Me Too with Halsey is the best of these tracks I think, with Halsey singing it reminds me a bit of early Paramore in style.

I was quite hyped for Misery Business but it's a damp squib and doesn't work by anyone other than Paramore.

My top highlights were forget me too, bodybag and concert for aliens

#1 in the US and #3 here! Fantastic to see

"my ex's best friend" also climbs to #30 here this week, with "forget me too" entering at #40 and "bloody valentine" reaching a new peak of #51

Forget Me Too with Halsey is the best of these tracks I think, with Halsey singing it reminds me a bit of early Paramore in style.

That's such a great shout! Definitely does sound very much like early Paramore. I'm a huge fan.
