FOURS – Even in My Dreams

(this group kept getting recommended to me through 2018 but I finally gelled with this track towards the end of that year/into '19)
Tommy Genesis f/ Charli XCX – 100 Bad Remix
Beck f/ Robyn + The Lonely Island – Super Cool
CupcakKe – Squidward Nose

(also finally a solo breakthrough for Cupcakke - this one's more funny than overly nasty - some of her stuff is just too much for me tho creative!)
Bossy Love – Be Yours
Avicii f/ Aloe Blacc – SOS
Lil Peep f/ ILoveMakonnen + Fall Out Boy – I’ve Been Waiting

(another discovery thanks to plug.dj uh...plugging, I guess)
Dinah Jane – Retrograde

(I think literally all of the 5th Harmony girls charted for me this year - they're shockingly much more consistent as soloists!)
Raissa – Half Past Nine
Hotel Garuda f/ Kiah Victoria + Imad Royal – One Reason
Of Monsters and Men – Wild Roses

(a welcome and unexpected return from the indie-folk group)
Pale Waves – Red
Chainsmokers f/ Coldplay – Something Just Like This [re]
Tom Budin f/ Luciana – X With You
Carly Rae Jepsen – Everything He Needs

(first slice of many from Carly this year - Dedicated was a less immediate album than Emotion, but we love to not discount slow burners in this house)
King Princess – Ain’t Together

(and speaking of, this is looking good to repeak in 2020, re-entering my weekly chart for its third run this week!)

Julia Michaels f/ Niall Horan – What a Time

(this was a super sweet collab that felt like both artists getting some extra clout & star power on board)
Birthday Boy f/ Trish – Who Are You
Great Good Fine OK – Take it or Leave it
Kita Alexander – Between You & I

(an unexpected & welcome return for Kita who last landed on my charts back in the mid 2010s & has seemed quiet since. this was unlucky not to peak higher)
David Guetta f/ Raye – Stay (Don’t Go Away)
Arctic Lake – Shed a Tear
Blakey f/ Henry Young – One for You
K.Flay – Good News

(and another welcome return for K.Flay this year who hadn't landed anything prior to this since 2012!)
Banks – Propaganda

(Banks also returned this year & landed several consistent long-charting tracks from her third album, however, although consistent, nothing has peaked highly yet)
Mahmut Orhan f/ Irina Rimes – Hero
Pitbull f/ Prince Royce + Ludacris – Tell Me Again
Babymetal – Kagerou
MUNA – Navy Blue
Andy Danca f/ Antonia – Amya

Britney Spears – Body Ache

(yeah, I know this is trashy dance pop but its such a good workout song & I was doing gym this time last year a bunch more)
Sonia Stein – Foolish
Shura – BKLYNLDN

(Shura's return was pretty lowkey in the endup. I'm still hoping we get that promised Tourist collab this year...)
Maja Kristina – No Fake Love
Stormzy – Vossi Bop

(I literally like this for the meme lines F the government and F Boris which is a sentiment I felt throughout most of 2019 - probably this year too!)
Dido – Mad Love

(first we'll be seeing of Dido in this rundown, she had a fair successful year following her album release - although mainly through remixes, I've always preferred her over an electro backing. minus the singles, this was my immediate standout on the album)
Cheryl – Let You

(this might be Cheryl's swansong, but she looks cute in the video & this is a much better song than her first comeback track)
Tritonal x GATTUSO f/ Rachel Platten – Little Bit of Love (Remix)
SACHI f/ CXLOE – Love Me Now
Sigrid x Simon Hardy – Mine Right Now (Remix)

(more Sigrid! come back with something stronger in 2020 tho pls)
Prides – Born to Be Whole
Eleine – Hell Moon (We Shall Never Die)
MGMT – Me and Michael
Nice to see Between You and I and SOS appear here! Giving Wild Roses a listen now, sounding nice, the verses remind me of the xx a bit actually! I've had Wars on my playlist the last few months but might add this one as well.

Don Diablo f/ Betty Who – Higher

(Betty has an extensive chart history for me and added a few tracks to it this year, however it was largely a quiet one for her)
Best Youth – Nightfalls
Netsky f/ Stargate + KYLE – Big Hearts
Rudimental f/ Raye + Maleek Berry – 1by1

(Rudimental's most recent work was pretty underwhelming but they scored this in the 30s. Raye's career also continues to be, putting it kindly, a slow burn after a promising beginning)
Coasts – You Could Have Been The One
Kiri T – I’m Not Here
Nicki Minaj – LLC
Major Lazer f/ Ariana Grande + Machel Montano – All My Love

(a slightly older track which found new joy continuing Ari's renaissance era)
Life Model – Long Way Round

(let's promote my friend's friend's band eh - this was a cute discovery tho)
Kiana Ledé f/ Lil Baby – Ex
Banks – Gimme

(stuck around in the chart for a long run and was one of my most played of the year, but Banks' comeback single never peaked outside the 30s)
Paloma Faith – My Body
GoldLink f/ Maleek Berry + Bibi Bourelly – Zulu Screams
Jax Jones f/ Bebe Rexha – Harder
Ritual f/ Emily Warren – Using
Mahalia – Do Not Disturb

(thanks BJSC)
Paperwhite x 90 Miles – Loop (Remix)
Prelow f/ Lostboycrow – Some Nights
Smeyeul f/ Galvanic – Boyfriend
Avril Lavigne – Warrior
Giorgio Moroder f/ Britney Spears – Tom’s Diner
Rubio – Fabula

(thanks BJSC #2)
Paisley Pink f/ Halyn – Home to Me

Gabrielle Aplin f/ Hannah Grace – December
Charli XCX f/ Dorian Electra + Mykki Blanco – Femmebot
Beatriz Luengo f/ Mala Rodriguez + Farina – Caprichosa
Selena Gomez f/ Selena – Bidi Bidi Bom Bom

(a nice discovery from Selena while we awaited her long-threatened new era)
Marshmello f/ Chvrches – Here With Me

(this was SO underwhelming and it grates that its their biggest chart success. Think its Chvrches' lowest charter for me)
Kodaline – Born Again
Grey f/ LEON – Want You Back

(another for LEON, and Grey who you'll also see later)
Foals x Purple Disco Machine – In Degrees (Remix)

(a great remix discovery, and currently representing on my second BJSC entry of the year)
Sad Palace – Your Beauty Hurts
Sasha Sloan – Thoughts
Nimmo – Too Late

(a fab discovery from BJSC's 2019 Pride spinoff, & this group's first charter after I found their earlier work much too pretentious)
Angie f/ Harrison First – Bambam
Cobrah – Tea

(BJSC-adjacent, I believe Jade previously sent this act?)
Viva La Panda f/ Rebecca and Fiona – Higher
Goo Goo Dolls – Indestructible
Ally Brooke – No Good

(and finally for this section another success for Miss Ally Brooke who up until the year-end with Camila's second release was comfortably my most-charted ex-5th Harmony member. She has some good tracks!)

Some decent tracks here - Higher was a tune and Harder and Here With Me were two of the best Top 40 hits this year! Giving the In Degrees remix a listen now, very funky! (although a distinct lack of the original lyrics :o)

Wars is only just hitting for me! Is your playlist on spotify pete??

It is indeed! The link is here although it's a rotating playlist so songs come on and off very quickly (although I've given up my headphones for Lent so it won't be as fresh as it usually is)

Cheers, I've shot that a wee follow so will be peeking in for inspiration as the year goes on then!

I wondered what you meant until I realised I accidentally linked the instrumental version! Fixed now
