Weirdly anough I always assumed it sampled Sway, but you're right, it's not credited as a sample, so I think it's a case of it just sounding extremely similar in melody.

Just realised there is no Electric produced song which is.. kinda sad, they’ve worked with Electric constantly since Salute and from Get Weird onwards they produced some of the best songs on the album. (Black Magic, NMSS, Forget You Not) I hope there’s one on the deluxe.

lol The Search was the only thing that justified a Nov 6th release date?? That’s so odd. I can only think that they’re using The Search to build as much as possible and then hope for bigger sales because they’ve been in the public eye every weekend for the last 5 weeks.

 

Although this does enable them to perform on Strictly during the rollout.

It's not gonna make a massive difference. They'll get loads of pre orders every week running up, will be able to perform the 3rd single a couple of weeks before the album release AND it makes them free to perform on Graham Norton and/or strictly on the album release week.

Yeah, I mean it’s not as though release week was entirely based on The Search being their only form of promo.

 

What The Search will do is hammer into the publics minds that a new album from them is coming, build up pre orders, build up anticipation, get the public aware of the new music coming from the album too.

 

 

When do you guys think the third single will come? I’m banking on next week or the week after, although BlackPink album is out on the 2nd so I’d think they’d wanna avoid it but who knows.

 

I also think it’ll be Confetti, I imagine they can have a lot of fun with that song if it’s gonna sound how I think.

With 6 bands going through to the live shows assuming one elimination per night my guess is that there would be 3 weeks of live shows and 2 weeks of pre-recorded.

I'm pretty sure someone said they won't be allowed to promote new music on the show as it would be unfair to other record labels, something similar to Syco not being allowed to just use X-Factor to promote their own artists. I think they're allowed to do covers and their old material?
