You guys always flip flop every day based on whether or not they're going to get the #1 lol. Kylie's Marble vinyl was limited to 4000 copies worldwide. Remember she's huge in her home country as well as moderate in other countries, I doubt all of those are for the UK. Given how Little Mix caught up to her pre-order numbers with having considerably less time as well as having the massive streaming gap to their advantage, I'd say there's nothing to worry about. And not to mention a lot of Kylie stans cancelled their original orders to order the newer packages she had in store. I'm guessing that was the issue with Amazon, as they seem to have had a stock issue with both Kylie and Little Mix's signed albums.

 

Even if there's a few tricks last minute, I don't think her physical numbers will be an issue, they'll probably be the same as Little Mix's. The physical sales climate is lower, not to mention the UK economy is garbage atm, not everyone has money for horribly priced albums, but they do have money for monthly streaming subscriptions. Personally think streaming will be what wins this for Little Mix. Kylie will probably only pull in 2-3k from streaming.

I think it's an old fashion fun/exciting chart battle for most people. And with more formats/info/effort going in every day from both artists, it's normal to go back and and fourth. A #1 album isn't a massive deal for them given they already have multiple massive successful albums that didn't go to #1, so I think it's just a it of fun for most.

I think I speak for the majority when I say a number one would be nice, but it really isn’t the most important thing in the world , the music and hopefully consistent sales during the next few months is what matters most for me and others I’d hope

Just FYI I haven't "flip flopped" :P I've always said and thought Kylie would take it... relatively easy. Although the success of 'Sweet Melody' is making me think it'll actually be closer than I originally thought it would be.

 

I am still thinking it'll be Kylie and idk why, I just have a feeling she (well, her label) is going to pull out all the stops, whereas I can see RCA doing... nothing. :lol:

 

But we'll see! This is just the exciting thing about a chart battle. People's opinions are going to change, especially just days before their release!

Yep. I feel this way too! I'm obviously going to be ecstatic if they do indeed get the #1, but I definitely care more about longevity and healthy sales with this one!

Yes lol, they won't count until the week they are despatched. It'll effect the bundles too.
