I wouldn't put past strictly promo pushing them to top 3, it's a bit too much to ask for RCA to add some cassettes / discounts that week but I think all the big releases are over by then?

Yeah I’m a bit disappointed that they haven’t released any new formats...

I’m still hoping we get some sort of Sweet Melody physical but I doubt that will ever happen.

There’s only Shawn Mendes and Lewis Capaldi re-release to be released in the next week or so, the week they perform on strictly is quite quiet week, hopefully a return to top 3 is on the cards
I think the last "big release" is Shawn on the 4th, but even then he's not that big here. If they decided to add a few extra variants and stuff I don't see why they wouldn't be able to snag that #1 over the Strictly week.
I would love for them to get the number 1 that week - if they push it I can see them getting it. Sales aren't that high and they've maintained steady sales.

Arctic Monkeys' live charity album is also released on the 4th, I can see that at #1. Yungblud as well will be up there, big fanbase with lots of bundles.

Yeah, the 4th is the last big release date. 11th, 18th etc are great weeks for them to do some promo and extra bundles/formats/discounts and sneak in at #1, especially given their sales and streaming have been very consistent so far.
If it doesn’t manage #1 this month then i hope they add NTFT to the streaming version in January when it takes off as that will probably be another opportunity for it to go #1 providing there’s no big releases planned of course.

Now that we have the full album would anyone have picked a different lead single or singles order?

I think Break Up Song was the correct lead single and releasing Sweet Melody before the album was smart. However I would have gone with the below order.

1st single - Break Up Song

2nd single - Happiness

3rd single - Sweet Melody

4th single - Confetti (with a feature)

Still praying we get Happiness as the 4th single next year.

I actually don't think Holiday was a terrible single choice. It's held up quite well despite not getting a great peak and I feel like it fits in on Spotify playlists for causal streaming quite nicely. I wouldn't be totally surprised if it eventually caught up with Break Up Song's sales.
Yeah I genuinely thought Holiday killed their momentum again and was a huge misstep at first when it dropped from 17 to 30 but it'll quite easily go Gold and is a BOP.
If they release Happiness next year I genuinely think it'll beat Glory Days as their best singles run.
They NEED Craig David or AJ Tracey on Happiness if they release it. It would fit their style so well and they're both huge names in the UK. No more American rappers on their singles! Stick to the UK scene.

Those two or stormzy again would be great

I wouldn’t change the singles...

Holiday has actually done really well now and was great over the summer...

Not KSI?

AJ Tracey would be perfect for the track as well as Craig David!

And it deserves too! It's still shocking that the most successful British girl band in the last decade has only had 1 #1 album :(

Also, I asked about this earlier - what's the plan for USA?

There isn't one. It's pointless now. I'm not trying to imply they're winding down now or that they don't crave that USA hit any more but at this point I think everyone has accepted it's just never going to happen and unless they, in their late 20's and having already pushed numerous singles over there for nothing, want to go back there and spend months at radio stations and malls promoting a new single (and abandon their home market when they're having huge success again here) then even adding the song to Todays Top Hits and sending it to radio would be for nothing.

With lockdown restrictions and Jesy's health and their international support dwindling every year I think it's best to just assume they're going to remain a UK only act for the time being.

Amen. Sweet Melody hasn’t even charted in Australia, a market which was once supportive of Little Mix. The US is never going to happen.

It’s frustrating, but just enjoy the renewed success Little Mix are having the UK, because even that seemed rocky for a while.
