Why do I get the feeling they’re holding out on the tracklist because they plan on announcing more editions of the album? It doesn’t make sense for there not to be a deluxe edition and it would be the only plausible reason to withhold the tracklist this long. We know there’s a Japan edition with extra tracks (there’s a small chance they could be new and not BB/Holiday Acoustic/BUS acoustic) and a deluxe edition with a further 2-3 tracks announced the week before being released, along with various different bundles would rapidly increase preorders.

I haven’t pre ordered yet incase there is a deluxe version on release week as if there is id get that.

 

I think with LM5 though it was announced before the release wasn’t it like the different versions I think I pre ordered that one.

The “other” editions usually get announced with the tracklist, usually because it’s awkward to then announce further deluxe songs/items further down the line. I can see RCA holding out to see how well it does on its own and then announcing deluxe editions closer to the day. I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to capitalise on a very anticipated album

I don't think theres a deluxe edition coming. I think they're just trying to spread things out to keep the hype up. So we'll probably get the tracklist soon and then some snippets like they did for LM5.

I think it’s to create some hype in the week running up to the album then like above release some snippets or teasers.

 

Everything looks like it’s going so well, I just really hope that shows in the sales.

 

 

Back to #3 on Apple Music, fell to #4 for a bit.

 

Could possibly climb to #2 this week if Bruce Springsteen falls (More than likely he'll start to) but I don't think it'll reach #1 before Friday, and then we'll probably be at 6-8 with the new releases. Still incredible for a pre-release lol.

I hope they go IN on release week in terms of singed bundles etc. More amazon exclusives would really help too

 

What are we thinking for first week sales? The current highest album sales of the year is 52.9k, do we think they could get higher?

Honestly me too. My guess is 50-60k. Would be very impressive if it could get close to Get Weirds first week sales!

I'm very surprised at how well this is holding up. It's definitely gonna do big numbers, I think because of the sales climate it'll be relatively lower than their sales (Get Weird onwards) so low 50k I think. If it manages to get 53k and become the biggest debut of the year, that would be *incredible*, because I don't think anyone after them would do those numbers either?
