I think LM could actually get it seeing as Kylie would have got the Graham boost and LM selling without big promo

Yeah after seeing these updates im not ruling out LM getting it at all, they are selling well with no huge promo and could easily restock some signed CDs etc.. Its gonna be close, i hope the girls have something up their sleeve!

 

 

If Little Mix actually pushed something else and restocked the Splatter vinyl then it would make everything more interesting.

 

Remember Kylie has 2k of signed cd’s still to be added which dispatch from the 10th.

 

 

And the girls will have streaming added daily through the week

Not one of the girls have actually provided a proper link to the album or there own LP’s on the site bar Jade and it made hers sell out for a short while.

 

No new formats (photo set is just rehashed LP cover with printed signatures) Splatter vinyl sold out since Friday (it’s there best selling version on HMV) No extra signed copies...

 

I’m not sure, I think I just expected them to totally bring it this time.

Unfortunately, unless LM surprise us with some tricks up their sleeve, I think we can call it for Kylie. They’ll be #2 with healthy sales though when a lot of people would’ve thought they were done after their last era so I can’t be too mad. Just a shame they always choose bad weeks to release and annoying well have to hear about it from the Kylie stans in the main threads lol.

I don't think it'll be the Kylie stans. It'll be the chart stans more. Kylie stans tend to keep themselves to themselves and aren't really ones to brag about it. Ofc they'll be celebrating, but they won't be throwing it in our faces, I don't think. Chart stans tho... they're a whole lot more unpredictable aha :lol:

I’m down

Finally listened to this, it’s great! Break Up Song and especially Sweet Melody are their two best songs since the Glory Days era for me. Happiness and to a lesser extent Confetti are both great and potential singles, I could see the former doing ok as a post-album single, especially with a feature on a single mix. If You Want My Love probably isn’t a single but it does the early 00s throwback sound very well.

 

Not A Pop Song, A Mess, Gloves Up, Rendezvous are also strong album tracks, does the latter sample Sway? Certainly sounds like it. Holiday was a solid enough single but not one of my favourites from their catalogue really.

 

I also liked Breathe and My Love Won’t Let You Down sounds like a grower, but it’s not a vintage ballad from them.

 

The only skipper for me is Nothing But My Feelings. But this is a big step up from LM5 for me, and I’d be more than happy to see it at No.1.

I agree with nearly all of this and it's definitely more my thing than LM5.

It's really sad that the #1 is looking less and less likely, either way it still went to a great artist with an even better album, so I'm not that upset, they don't seem that bothered either. If they really actively wanted the #1 album then it would be another story, but it doesn't seem like their label is gunning for it. Little Mix's "thing" has always been insane high sales at #2/#3 position anyway lol

 

Breathe and Nothing But My Feelings have really grown on me, especially Breathe, idk if I'm just going through it but their emotional delivery is always so potent in sad/break-up songs.

 

The only song I'm not feeling (yet) is My Love Won't Let You Down... Idk why it's not clicking, it's a beautiful song about their devotion to each other, it just isn't clicking for me. Falling, their cover which is entirely backed by a piano always gets me. I think because this song sounds like it was def recorded individually, there's no big climatic moment. Even Secret Love Song which doesn't have a harmony moment is at least really dramatic. Oh well, 12/13 ain't bad, I haven't enjoyed an album completely from them in a long time (I don't think I ever have and I'm a huge stan lol) so imo, this is their most replayable album yet.

It was added yesterday and they are printed signatures but it’s pretty clever promo and Jade did a swipe up link so her LP is selling well now.

Confetti is really growing on me, I need that epic confetti cannon performance for sure!
