December 27, 20196 yr Author I wonder why they're not A-listing 'Roxanne'? It's a big hit and exactly the kind of thing they'd be all over on the A-list. Also very surprised that Sam Fender has stalled on the B-list for so long, thought that would be a dead cert for the A-list. No idea at all who the TBC is. Wasn't expecting any big releases at this time of year  plus the Spotify NMF playlist hasn't updated so I don't even know what's out this week! Surely Alan Walker/Ava Max is nowhere near a big enough release to warrant an A-list add? Hope they go back to 12 songs on the C-list next week. Edited December 27, 20196 yr by M4NGO HO HO
December 27, 20196 yr Author Just seen that Bieber's got new music coming so I'm guessing it's him (although from what I've seen the single isn't out until Jan 3rd but whatever).
December 27, 20196 yr Maybe they’re not doing a Playlist next week so that space is there for next Friday? It surprises me there’s a playlist this week really considering they won’t be playing any playlist songs until at least Wednesday.
December 27, 20196 yr TBC is Bieber surely? They have R1 Anthems from over the years this week so this being next week’s playlist seems more likely than Rihanna coming back this week sadly.
December 27, 20196 yr Author Maybe they’re not doing a Playlist next week so that space is there for next Friday? It surprises me there’s a playlist this week really considering they won’t be playing any playlist songs until at least Wednesday. In recent yeard they've published a playlist every week as normal even around this time of year so there's no reason to think they won't next week. It does seem a little unfair on the songs on the playlist though as they won't be getting the same amount of spins as they would at another time of year. Edited December 27, 20196 yr by M4NGO HO HO
December 27, 20196 yr They’re only going to get an Early Breakfast spin so some tracks may not even be played at all until New Year’s Day
December 27, 20196 yr Author TBC is Bieber surely? They have R1 Anthems from over the years this week so this being next week’s playlist seems more likely than Rihanna coming back this week sadly. Why would they not just publish next week's playlist next week though? Plus they don't usually have a break in the playlisting. Did they do Anthems last year, I can't remember?
December 27, 20196 yr Why would they not just publish next week's playlist next week though? Plus they don't usually have a break in the playlisting. Did they do Anthems last year, I can't remember? They had normal shows last year with a couple of cover presenters
December 27, 20196 yr Author I suppose Dan's suggestion is plausible then but if that was the case I still don't know why they wouldn't just publish next week's playlist next week. We'll wait and see I guess. Hope Bieber's song is good.
December 27, 20196 yr The other thing that’s made me think it’s Justin Bieber is that the TBA is listed between J Hus and Lewis Capaldi do people like Rihanna or Travis Scott wouldn’t fit there if that makes sense.
December 27, 20196 yr Author The other thing that’s made me think it’s Justin Bieber is that the TBA is listed between J Hus and Lewis Capaldi do people like Rihanna or Travis Scott wouldn’t fit there if that makes sense. Yep you're right, didn't even spot that! I blame too many mince pies and mulled wine. That pretty much confirms it's Bieber.
December 27, 20196 yr Author Are we sure it's not just the new J Hus song? That would fit in the gap too. If it was the new J Hus song they probably would have removed the old one in the same update.
December 27, 20196 yr The playlists are so poor just now, there's inly around 4 or 5 songs that I'd choose to listen to if they came on
December 27, 20196 yr The J Hus track would be released today though would it not? I think it may be Bieber. Gobsmacked they are still supporting Alicia Keys - not complaining though!
