Not sure how much I'm expecting Gerry to open with but I think it'll be a decent opening. I suspect he'll have good vinyl sales and streaming, perhaps a similar opening to Dua?

Could be in for three weeks at #1, perhaps even four (I think its fourth week could see competition from The D-Day Darlings).

I think Gerry will have a really strong opening week - he’s really supported indies with signed copies etc., which sold out weeks ago. He has 3 vinyls (Standard, HMV exclusive and Webstore exclusive) so should have good sales from those.
nice to see Fiona Apple's album fly up to #5 now, she was only #49 when I checked earlier this morning

Hard to know how the current lockdown will affect Gerry's sales - hope he breaks 30k.

Not sure how he will do on streaming?

It's crazy how much Gerry has blown up in the last year or so. He's a lock in for #1 this week which is good, but I do kinda hope Dua can overtake him to get a 3rd week at #1 before the next big album releases hit

I think she has a good chance of getting to #1 again I think, the next couple of weeks are quiet but then in May there are a fair amount of big releases (The 1975 and The Killers look to get comfortable #1s, possibly Bon Jovi as well).

he seems to do well, by standards of indie performers, I expect we'll see 2-3 songs break the lower half of the singles chart too.

I've been expecting to see a Gerry Cinnamon song making the top 40 for a while now but he's kept stalling lower down the top 100, maybe the album release could finally push something to crack the top 40? ('Where We're Going' has been hanging around the low top 100 for a few weeks with a peak of #67 so far, I think that's my favourite of his songs that have charted so would be good to see it at least re-peaking). Though that didn't quite happen for Sam Fender.

The album should definitely be #1 anyway!

Who knew Mrs Brown was such a good promotional slot.

 3 The Shires - Good Years

 28 The Shires - Greatest Hits

Plus their single is #26

Fleur East is performing next week - her album will probably get more sales than it did in her week 1!

 1 Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia

Good move from Dua’s team to reduce the album to £4.99 on iTunes to try and get some extra weeks at #1 officially - guess they know sales will be low due to the lack of new releases so it’s a chance to clock up some more weeks at the top.

Absolutely nothing out this week - just purchased Tom Misch for me!

And Fleur East's album hasn't re-entered the top 1500 following her performance!

She really hasn't done very well at all with this one.
