The first episode, on Monday 13 April, consolidated after seven days with 9m, which is also the highest rating drama on ITV since Manhunt in January last year. A further 1.1m viewers watched the later repeat at 23.50 that evening taking the combined total audience past the 10m mark. Quiz, about the notorious Who Wants To Be A Millionaire “coughing” incident, which starred Michael Sheen as Chris Tarrant, James MacFadyen as Major Charles Ingram and Sian Clifford as his wife Diana, was particularly popular among young viewers. It averaged 1.5 million for the 16-34 - the highest rating drama for this age bracket since Line of Duty on BBC One in May 2019.
