+ Fun at #237 to complete the Selena album tracks (not too bad a showing for her, definitely looks like it'll be a first top 10 album minimum, probably only 'Rare' being a new entry for her though as the 2 previously released songs are outperforming the other album tracks).

 

Looks like the Future/Drake song is going to be big, not sure it'll be contending for #1 but likely at least top 5, a great showing when Future has only one previous top 40 hit here as lead artist (and still only 2 in total iirc?), I guess there's been a good amount of hype for another Future/Drake collab after the slow-burning success of 'Jumpman' (and to a lesser extent the rest of their joint mixtape). Maybe a #1 debut in the US as it is already #1 on Apple Music ahead of Roddy Ricch who no doubt has massive numbers. Interested to see where it lands when Spotify updates ~

The Wolfe Tones still hanging on at #1 but Tones And I will be back there any minute (it's only just occurred to me that the top 2 both have the word 'Tones' in their name :magic:) - although The Weeknd is actually now very close behind Tones so hopefully we're nearing the end of 'Dance Monkey' being a near permanent default #1.

 

edit: actually Tones is now #1 again and The Weeknd up to #2, Kworb's last update was a little over an hour ago. Stormzy's diss tracks are now at #13 and #20 (I see 'Disappointed' has actually been belatedly released as well), curious to see if there's an outside chance 'Still Disappointed' could do well enough to cause 'Audacity' to get starred out :thinking: (probably not, I doubt it'll get particularly massive streaming numbers).

Looks like the Welsh nationalists got jealous of The Wolfe Tones' success... :lol: (this is a song from the 80s as well, Google isn't bringing up any reason why it's charting like it did for The Wolfe Tones, but I presume it's also politics related as Dafydd Iwan is literally a former leader of Plaid Cymru).

 

Can't be often that Welsh language songs have appeared on the iTunes chart :magic:

 

edit: I searched for it on Twitter and it seems this is literally just a Welsh nationalist campaign in response to The Wolfe Tones. Wonder if we'll also see a Scottish nationalist song showing up soon :P

It would be quite amusing if the Welsh one charted and the Irish one didn't even though it sold more :P

When will these chart campaigns learn that you'd be far better off just bribing Alexa to play your song?
