But which are his most popular? With ten incredibly successful years in music under his belt, it's easy to forget that Justin Bieber is still a young player in pop at 25 years old. He was the original YouTuber rags-to-riches star, discovered by his still-manager Scotter Braun and signed to Usher's record label RBMG. R&B-flavoured pop quickly became his signature sound, helmed by some of the world's biggest producers at the time, including The-Dream, Darkchild and Tricky Stewart. A decade later, with 45 UK Top 40 songs including seven Number 1s to his name, Justin's as-yet-untitled fifth album is on the horizon, lead by new single Yummy. The track, co-produced by regular collaborator Poo Bear, adds a layer of laidback trap beats to his R&Bieber sound. In the UK, Justin's singles from his last album, 2015's Purpose, rank among his most popular. According to Official Charts Company data, combining paid-for sales and streaming equivalent sales, Number 1 hit Sorry is his second biggest track with 2.6 million chart sales, made up of 197 million streams and 740,000 paid-for sales. Two more Purpose singles follow close behind on his all-time Top 40: Love Yourself in third (2.51 million) and the album's lead release What Do You Mean in fourth (2.19 million). All three songs reached Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and earned Justin a record as the only artist in UK chart history to occupy Numbers 1, 2 and 3 on the singles chart in the same week. Justin has been a keen collaborator throughout his career, teaming up with the likes of Ludacris, DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta and Major Lazer. His biggest song overall in the UK is also a collaboration; his 2017 team-up with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on Despacito, with 3.17 million UK chart sales. Justin jumped on a remix of the Spanish-language song three months after its original release, allegedely after he saw the response to it in a Colombian nightclub. The result was an 11-week UK Number 1 and the second biggest song of 2017. Other popular Justin collaborations in his all-time Top 40 include Cold Water with Major Lazer and Mo at 5 (1.6 million), I Don't Care with Ed Sheeran at 7 (1.45 million), and Where Are U Now with Skillex and Diplo at 8 (1.44 million). Justin's first UK Top 10 hit, Baby ft. Ludacris, places tenth in his Top 40 with 763,000 chart sales, while his Christmas single Mistletoe, which is growing in popularity year-on-year, places 13th on 588,000. When it comes to Justin's albums, 2015's Purpose leads the pack with 1.32 million chart sales, followed by his 2010 debut My World (826,000) and 2012's Bieve (248,000). January 10, 20205 yr Ed did it after Justin so I presume they mean he was the only artist up to that point to do it. Lol at 'Gas Pedal' being on this list when the original version without Bieber was far more popular, at least at the time (I don't know if the Bieber version now gets more streams or whatever).
