Posted January 11, 20205 yr The first film I watched this decade... Spies In Disguise A fun spy movie that reminds me of the action and comedy that was present in The Secret Show. Will Smith gives an enjoyable, charismatic performance as Lance Sterling. Killian made for a legitimately threatening antagonist, but also having a grudge on Sterling and his motives on protecting people, due to how corrupt they turned out to be when that resulted in Killian's own allies being killed. His plan in which he changes his face to look exactly like Sterling's in order to frame him for stealing a drone that he was supposed to return to the agency was fantastic. The comedy is good for the most part, though there are some jokes that drag on for longer than they should and the joke involving the food under the table was pretty gross.
January 12, 20205 yr Jumanji 2 - visually good but kind of fell flat for me on the humour and story elements Bombshell - a film that people need to watch for the ‘real story’ aspect. Great performances from all
January 12, 20205 yr Zombieland: Double Tap It was alright but let me just say Zoey Deutch absolutely saved this film! She was absolutely hilarious and I'm starting to suspect she'll become even more widely known in the next few years as she's proven to be a great actress and especially when it comes to comedy.
January 16, 20205 yr Snap Jade, reallly good show. Horrific how realistic it was, thank goodness I didn't live back then - I woulda been a deserter!!!
February 10, 20205 yr John Wick 3 has to be the worst of worst that I've watched this year so far. The first one was alright. The second one was getting ridiculous already and JW 3? Oh my gosh!
February 10, 20205 yr Bad Boys 3 - action, comedy and the explosive reaction between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence
March 17, 20205 yr I saw The Way Back starring Ben Affleck this weekend just before the cinemas shut down in my state. It's great, but not quite as great as the similarly-titled The Way Way Back from 2013 or so.
