I've been WAY too busy over the past 48 hours which is why I've been very quiet but I do adore this!!! I was a little underwhelmed after the first listen but then after the second and third it just clicked so it didn't take long! :lol: I think the chorus is a little underwhelming and I doubt I'll return to the video but it's super fun and just the kinda comeback song she needs.

Well a romance can be bad either in the sense of harmful or badass.

 

Love can be stupid but she's using it in the context of a singular noun which is to my ear confusing. "Your stupid love" just doesn't quite make sense to my ear the way A stupid love (an instance of love being stupid) or THAT stupid love (love itself being inherently stupid) would have done.

Stupid Love is still safely at #2 in the midweeks. I don't want to jump the gun, but it looks safe (i think?) for a top 5 debut.

I think it's safe to say top 10 this week, it'll be the top 5 that I think will be close - I'm gonna guess either a #5 or #6 debut, it depends on if it falls hard on Spotify today and tomorrow though
