Ah it’s because the campaign to get it into the chart on 31st Jan is underway, I expected this.

Starting 3 days late, organised about as well as you'd expect then xx

4. André Rieu & Johann Strauss Orchestra - Ode to Joy (Final Movement from Symphony No.9, Op.125 / Live)

6. Dominic Frisby - 17 Million F**k-Offs (2020 Update)

This is turning into the next Brexit referendum then, wonder if either will make any actual chart impact.

Until one of them gets to number one on iTunes, there's hardly any chance of them making any impact. We've seen that with the recent Irish and Welsh campaigns.

'Ode To Joy' was only #24 in the last Kworb update so that's suddenly got a huge boost from somewhere. Could probably see it getting to #1. Nice to see it ahead of the Dominic Frisby thing anyway lol ~ (they're #1 and #2 respectively on Amazon).

André Rieu finally coming for a top 100 single?

The New European wrote an article about the Ode To Joy chart campaign a few hours ago, that might have done it.

Brexits iTunes version of Rage Against The Machine v Joe McElderry battle then. Seen it all now.

And The Weeknd staying ahead of both of them!

Although I’m not sure that’ll last long now.

Well it's already surpassed last week's replies from the previous weekly thread. I suppose that could be some good in that.

Sad to see Andre Rieu used in that way.

48. Becky Hill - Only You

73. Michael Kiwanuka - Solid Ground

75. Camila Cabello - First Man

If 'Solid Ground' is the third single from KIWANUKA then great song choice Michael!

1. André Rieu & Johann Strauss Orchestra - Ode to Joy (Final Movement from Symphony No.9, Op.125 / Live)

39. Becky Hill - Only You

62. Michael Kiwanuka - Solid Ground

74. Camila Cabello - First Man

Knew it would only be a matter of time until the number one changed hands.
The third politics-related iTunes #1 within a single month  (Dominic Frisby has resumed gaining of course so could probably see him rising to #2)

10. Billie Eilish - bad guy

37. Becky Hill - Only You

46. SKT - Gelato

50. Michael Kiwanuka - Solid Ground

71. Camila Cabello - First Man

301. Blossoms - If You Think This Is Real Life

What a quote that is.

With Dominic Frisby having a grand total of 951 monthly listeners on Spotify, he would need absurd download numbers to even make the top 200.

Both battling for outside the Top 100 officially.
