February 3, 20205 yr J.Lo killed it, The Waiting For Tonight moment :o Shakira was okay It should have been full J.Lo show imo.
February 3, 20205 yr I don’t see why they need to be pitted against each other tbh . They BOTH did an incredible job and put on an amazing show ! Edited February 3, 20205 yr by troylovesmusic
February 3, 20205 yr It was sensational! With those two, it really couldn’t be anything else. For me, leading up to it.. it was all about J.Lo but Shakira brought it! They were equally as fantastic and both have perfect perfect hits! Although I would have liked more of it together! Both of them singing ‘on the floor’ would have given me life!! And I’m gutted they havn’t released a duet for the occasion, because it would have been pure fire Edited February 3, 20205 yr by .MIKE.
February 3, 20205 yr After a second watch I do like it a bit more, they're both such superstars and were on their A-Game. I just wish we had like a minute more of Hips don't Lie
February 3, 20205 yr They were fantastic and it didn't feel messy at all. It was just a giant celebratory pop spectacle that played to both of their strengths, as well as an affirmation of Latin pride and the cultural diversity of America (and Miami). I didn't actually expect any political statements from Jennifer Lopez but was impressed that she went there — the imagery of the children in cages, 'Born in the USA' with the Puerto Rican flag, etc. Shakira really stood out to me though, especially as she isn't known for choreography but she completely held her own and was magnetic to watch. My favourite moment of the entire set was her belly-dancing with the rope. The zaghrouta moment, the Champeta dance during 'Waka Waka' — so joyful and impressive to see during an event like this. February 3, 20205 yr They were both absolutely INCREDIBLE! Two incredible performers and artists, and one big celebration of two phenomenal careers. Adore
February 3, 20205 yr Eh. It was okay. Shakira felt like the support act for J Lo! I loved the political message though, qith Shakira only speaking Spanish with the light show behind them of a wall/ cage, and the kids singing from the cages, rhen singing born in the USA. Great!!
February 3, 20205 yr Neither felt like the support for one another. But Shakira really held her own more for me. She was the one I was most captivated by.
February 3, 20205 yr I literally screamed at how amazing this was last night. I'd had a fair few tequilas and stuff but don't think I've ever done that before  Both were amazing, Shakira was the highlight for me because I literally love her. Need to see her live. Would love it if they toured together.
February 3, 20205 yr Live Nation announced Shakira is doing a world tour in 2021! I hope we get a J.Lo one somehow too!
February 3, 20205 yr i said it earlier but i got goosebumps when she did whenever wherever so i’m not surprised in the slightest that it’s taken off. it’s such a fantastic, throwback track that everyone loves when it’s played but is often forgotten so it’s awesome that this has reignited the love for it.
