Kylie is showing she is keen to get work completed for the album which is wonderful news.

I’m not ready for new music and tours yet - mid to late next year would be good :lol:

2021 will see Kylie return.

Nothing will arrive in 2020 with the exception of Santa Baby returning to the chart.

Honestly, if she releases her next album, her record company better gets realistic about ... her fans' and casual fans' financial capability... lots of people have been laid off after all.

Exactly this - I’m not here for £35 picture discs, £15 cassettes and £200+ concert tickets at the moment!

Ya I'd agree, the multi formats are nice, I'm all for a cd, cassette and vinyl but one of each and at a later stage a deluxe re release.

From 34:20 - looks like the album could be coming sooner than expected! Apparently the album is in the process of being wrapped up and they're deciding on the tracking list! :o

Realky wouldn't have expected that at all, I wonder could a Q4 release happen.

I hold letting any form of excitement creep in until we get more confirmed news.

New Kylie music would be a proper treat this year.

IF the album is ready, would q4 be a good time to release do you think? I'm thinking late Sept and aim for the number 1 and still be around for the busy part of q4 push the promo out and get the sales.

There tends to be a slight lull in releases around October time ahead of the build to Christmas so could potentially be a good time to release. BMG have done a lot to build momentum and it would be interesting to see how they launch a Q4 Kylie release.

 

That said, I could see them wanting to wait until the prospect of a tour seems more set. We could hear the first single before the end of the year perhaps?

Ya they know promotion and tourung will play a big part so they might wait and see how things are. Q4is always hard and as we saw with body language albums can chart lower than expected.

Kylie album used to fare better when Parlophone releases her album in Q4 and threw everything at promoting the album.

She prob would pick up extra sales from the casual buyer in q4 but get a much lower chart position.

Id welcome another Number 1.

Gold should be achieved and a further number 1 will look so great in her discography including 8 Number 1s.

I'd love another number 1 aswell and I'm really hoping it can happen and I'm sure they will really push it on release week
