Yes.

Fans are being over critical. They need to go with the concept.

The production, the video, the remixes, the releases, the photos, the album covers, etc it's all been planned this way.

Just enjoy her, the music, the promo when it happens. We shouldn't over analyse and I am guilty of doing that too.

It’s an easy trap to fall into....but we all love to analyse, hence why we come to the forum. It’s part of our DNA.

Yep.

I just don't know what some fans expect of her music.

It's almost hyper critical this time.

The album cover is completely fine, it's striking. Just enjoy it.

The music has been varied in structure, tempo etc

The videos have been fine. They will not spend big money on videos anymore

The promo will come. There is no point doing promo months in advance that will be forgotten when album comes out.

I don't think fans have been hyper critical through this era.

The opinions are no more varied than when Golden was released.

Fans here on buzzjack are balanced, sayhey there are many trolls and posters who lack any perspective. Though there are also balanced posters there too.
I think that happens with so many artists, I do find buzzjack has a fair balance and the genuine fans have no problem not loving everything kylie and equally heep praise when they are happy with a release.

I honestly think BMG and Kylie know they can't compete with Little Mix on release week and will concentrate on longevity.

I could be wrong. I just can't see Kylie sat down signing 1000s of cassettes and CDs lol trying to get a number one album lol.

I think the only way to sell something to fans on a big enough scale is give a new format cheaper if you bought a ticket to the concert and they send a mailout on Friday with an offer like get a special Infinite Disco designed cassette for £5 if you have bought a ticket.

I don't remember them doing anything for Golden except maybe a few signed cassette?

BMG are quite reactive though so let's see. They want profit though not lots of 3.99 CDs being sold on week one lol

The signed album or cassette would be very popular but won't happen.

Longevity would be welcomed.

Golden had a delightful chart history.

The best promo for Kylie to start release week is to be in the studio on Zoe Ball breakfast Show and sing a live version of Say Something and a play of Magic. You would think she would get that booking but let's see.

That would get things started for the week, before Graham Norton continues it in the evening

Those first set of midweek charts two weeks today are going to be so interesting. LM have the edge I reckon, their recent album sales are much better than Kylie and they seem to have recovered commercially after the relative drop back for LM5, which was still a good seller. BMG are pleased with Kylie’s pre release sales, if LM outsell that then so be it as they’ll easily achieve better streaming points.

It's always about Little Mix and Kyile, but what about Pop Smoke? He's still going so strong in the UK. Could it happen Kylie charts only at no 3 because of him?

He's selling less than 10k at the moment, of course not.

I just wonder if in two weeks lots of young people are forced to stay at home, got nothing better to do than streaming and of course strong streaming acts will getting even stronger. I think Kylie will be no 1, but if I had to place a bet if she'd end up top 2 I wouldn't put my money on it because of Pop Smoke.

If Kylie is going to release any new versions it will not be until release week and all the bundles are posted out etc. Can you imagine her releasing a picture vinyl and everyone cancels their bundles etc to buy this etc. Will cause distribution chaos and as no one seems to be fond of her cover at the moment then they are likely to do it.

They will get all those pre orders delivered then see what else they can do.

BMG want sales and at good prices to make them money

The Vamps number 1 album last week

They are 147 in the midweeks

I hope Kylie doesn't suffer like that!!

Bruce Springsteen sold 37.5k already! He is going to go well over 50k.
