There’s also-an-unreleased-as-yet F9 Remix of Say Something that is on the Japanese release, I’m surprised they’re not putting that on there tbh. Seems weird to still be getting remixes of the lead single when it’s been out since July but there you go.

In this spotify era, I don't think sales really mean that much to artists, especially to legacy artists like K, Madge, etc. They make their money from concerts, etc. (which, of course in the covid and post covid world is a whole diff conversation)

I dont think there is much money anymore in music sales, if there is, its very little, touring and merchandise is where the money is and as we see with kylie she has ventured into so many different business which im sure all helps bring in lots of money.

I’m sure for artists like Kylie though the physical market still pulls in substantial revenue, I mean she’s selling vinyl between £20-30 and I appreciate there are lots of costs associated to that but she’s shifted 11k in a week with an average price of £25 that is £275,000 alone without everything else.

 

Also the majority of her sales come direct from her official site which I’m sure improves margins and revenue for her.

The album isn't out in Japan until the end of November; I'm guessing we won't hear it before then.

I believe so! It’s so great to see especially with the standard version also in the Top 10 for the majority of the week.

 

I don’t remember Golden or SBIT holding on at the top for more than a few days.

Surprisingly, I was hoping for more digital sales, as her fanbase is more from that era (myself included). I have a Spotify account but I rarely stream anything. I listen to the song on youtube and if I like, I buy!
